Due to be really wet and windy here today. Going to get my hair cut and highlighted at my sister's today. Her granddaughter is due anytime so she will be hyper!
Have done all my MDs so quite pleased thats done. Maybe try a few CTWs now.
Gosh leanfun it sounds hard work picking up your GS. We used to just wander 10mins down the road. Mum could wander 10mins from the opposite direction.
Good Luck everyone.

Morning all. The sun was out for a short while but gone now gloomy again.
Thanks for pics Sheils and Firefly made me smile.
Forgot to say well done on t shirt win Sheils.
Yes picking grandson up takes a lot of time but it's great to see his smile when he sees us. They used to live quite near us in a flat but to buy a house they had to move out and traffic is bad. DD1 works three days a week and he's picked up by childminder those days. The first week of the month she has to work whole week so we help out the two days she would pick him up. We did it two days a week when he was at preschool for a year but it was a bit much. So now we only do these two days and if there's an emergency. He's six in March.
Wow sunny out again to brighten the place up. Will be able to see all the dust.
Have a good day and hugs for those needing one. Good luck everyone.0 -
Good morning everyone :hello:
Hope you're all ok on this mixed weather day!
It was raining first thing - now it's eased off but wind is
picking up a tad. Still very mild though. It actually
seems to be brightening up .... or is that just wishful thinking
on my part.
Yesterday afternoon was wonderful - managed to get out
and make a start on my February pruning.
Also forgot to say .... very well done on your T-shirt win
sheils. :T :j
Have a lovely and lucky Thursday all and take care.

Late in again today been into town with DS and then on the Slimming World tonight. Have lost another 1 lb and got my certificate for losing 10% of my weight when I started.
Thanks for the pics firefly & Sheils.
It is hard work being grand parents leanfun, we know that from experience too. It doesn't seem to change when they get older either. I have to go into town to meet one of my GD's to take her shopping for a present for her friend and she is 15 but love them to bits.
Sorry to hear from DAD has been poorly Kate it must have been worrying for you. Do take care of yourself too.
Think we are due snow next week at some point.
Good night all.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
Hi Katie so sorry to hear about your Dad. Pleased to hear he is home again. Hope he is well soon. Take care of yourself.
Well done on SW Sylvia that's a great achievement. Totally agree with you about GKs.0 -
Looking nice here this morning - sun shining and birds chirping away outside.
Hope your dad is OK Katie.
Well done on the weight loss Sylvia. Think it will be a while before we get any GKs although as our youngest is only 18 it doesn't feel that long since we were bringing up kids. DS1 will be 34 in July though and sounds like he will be getting a place with his gf soon. He was with a girl for 7 years but has been playing the field for so many years since, so glad he has finally found some else.
Hope everyone has a lucky day.
