Afternoon all

It's sunny here but a tad on the chilly side - strange
looking sky - a patchwork of blue, grey, white .... so
long as it doesn't turn to rain I'll be happy.

Sounds as if you all had a wonderful time yesterday

Crikes - did I just hear correctly on the TV that Storm Barbara
is going to be 'visiting' the UK end of this week! :eek:

On that note I'd best get on, got loads of things to do as
well as catching up with comps etc!

It's certainly chilly enough for storm Barbara Alfie! I don't normally wish for it but as it's Xmas week I hope we have some snow

I manage to talk DH into going to town to get a few more presents I needed while DD2 is in school still. She breaks up dinner time tomorrow so won't get chance when nosey Nora is around! I still need a couple of things though so will try and get them Thursday.

couldn't be without mine,
they certainly give confidence walking even it's only
a short distance.

It wasn't too bad in town today actually than I thought, it was only primark that was busy. I hate going in there anyway!
It certainly is colder tonight. The minute the living room door opens it's a breeze coming through.

Morning peeps. Another chilly one here. Looked out my shoe grippers as well ff. Bought them last year as I have slipped and fallen a few times on icy pavements and can't risk doing any more damage to my leg. Just heard on news/weather forecast we are to expect snow/sleet and gusty winds. So glad I do not have to go out today. Hope everyone is well.

Morning. Dull here today. Don't fancy that storm Alfie.

Well today is cleaning and putting up decorations. We usually stick to the traditional twelve days of Christmas. DS and GKs coming Friday for Hols. DD1coming for Christmas Day with GS. DD2 and family might come Boxing Day or after so it's going to be hectic. We have put extra freezer on in garage and yesterday finished filling it. Just turkey to pick up and fresh veg to buy.

Yesterday we went to Homebase Argos to pick up A parcel for DD1. Queue was so long. Ages later we saw two people walk in and going to a very short queue. We both thought what are they doing. Lo above the counter was a very big notice Click and Collect and EBay collections. We were in the wrong queue!
