Evening everyone, well done on the smoke alarm wins FF and Sylvia. I got the tree up at last.Still got the presents to wrap..lol. I am so far behind this year but sure i will catch up before christmas day..I had today off but had shopping, washing and housework to do. Think i have mon and tues off next week just need to check my rotas. Hope you have all had a good day.

Evening peeps. Hope you all had a good day and didn't run yourselves ragged with shopping etc. Had a relaxing afternoon cooking more to do tomorrow. DS phoned me whilst out shopping asking what GK's got their mum last year as they want to get the same again and couldn't remember the name of it. Told him it was a set of liz earle. He asked where he could get it. Had to tell him he would not be able to get it where he was shopping. So have ordered it up from QVC. May have a glass of wine later will see how I feel. Have a nice evening.

I have yet to complete my Xmas shopping too indie next week. It will have to wait until pay day now!

don't think i ever mentioned in here though that
we have one we adopted from cat rescue a while back,
she's a little darling 10 yr old whose owner had died & the family didn't want her so when I saw her at the rescue centre i bought her home here & she's well settled & a little minx sometimes
great you received the bracelet today :dance:
i received the Koko Dairy Free Hamper yesterday :j
& am well pleased with it the milk/yogurts etc are into 2017 dates so will save me money on shopping bill :dance:

Don't mind cooking ff I enjoy it. Well done on hamper. Just had a bacon sandwich . Wish I hadn't as it is lying like a lump in my stomach. Did not have a glass of wine decided I didn't want one lol. (Unlike me) Hopefully it will be dry in the morning as I want to sort out my tubs. They need a bit of tidying up.

I didn't have any wine in the end either Rose as I pigged out on crisps and nuts while watching A Christmas Carol so now I feel stuffed!

I managed to put up some lights around the window finally today with the help of DD2. Waiting for DH to help it will be next Xmas!

Looks like a foggy start here - we've had a couple of
foggy mornings of late but once the mist has lifted it's so
mild - I know I keep saying this but just can't believe that
it's December with these amazing temperatures! :T

sheils - the funeral for your friend sounds beautiful, a
wonderful celebration of her life. :A Hope your 'first'
Xmas day went well yesterday - lol at DD's kitten wearing
a little elf costume - sounds so cute :grinheart .... meanwhile my
puddy continues to seek out and play with then eat :eek:
all things Christmassy!

She has however made herself a cozy little sleeping/look
out place under the tree, inbetween the 'pretend' pile of
prezzies! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Aww, fire**fly - I hadn't realised you had a puddy too, and
from a rescue centre. :A :A Cats are such wonderful
company and so thoroughly entertaining.

Lovely that your hamper arrived yesterday - it's an
added bonus too that yogs, milk etc all have 2017 dates
on - looks like you'll be nicely stocked up come the new
year! :T :j

Hi everyone. We were at DSs beginning of last week and saw the GKs school nativity. They were so pleased we went. Good news is both have settled into school there really well.

We came home Wednesday not feeling well. I had no voice, sore throat and then cough but feeling a lot better now. Feel able to 'talk'.

Last week I had a WEM for a Orchira bracelet and it has already arrived. It's lovely. Can't find post. I also won £50 on the Puzzle Arrow win.

Firefly well done on clock, sounds really good. Argos voucher and magazine win. Plus hamper.

Wingo sorry to hear your brother is not well. Hope transfusion helps. Brilliant news about DD1 anyone would be extremely proud. Good Luck with Cinderella. Wingo I decided not to do cards this year as hadn't bought them when I usually do. Ho dear.

Sheils well done on wins. Pleased your friend's funeral went off well. I'm sure her children appreciated having friends there. Very sad. Hope you enjoyed your first Christmas dinner. We had years with no children and it's not the same. Hectic this year with either 3 or 5 GKs.

Sylvia well done on SW brilliant that you have kept it up. Well done on alarm wins. It was very foggy at the coast while we were there. Pleased your SIL and GS were ok.

Rose sounds as though you have been very busy. Pleased all the work and noise is finished for you.

Well with no energy and no voice for days I've entered comps in a blur. Awake early again but feel better to crack on with Christmas preparations.

Dull start to the morning here too Alfie although no fog. Had quite a bit of fog yesterday morning. Has been really mild here too.

Glad you finally got your lights put up wingo.

Had a lovely meal cooked by DS3 yesterday. DH and I just had the washing up to sort out! We had my parents and DD for the meal too and her bf came up after his work to get his meal. Feeling a little on fragile side though!
DS3 starting work again on Tuesday afternoon so we are going to run him back and have a night away as we got one for under £33! He is going to pay the petrol money as a lot cheaper than buses and trains and he has presents etc to take back.
