Well done sylvia yaaaaaaay. You too ff yaaaaaaay Finally got my tree up. It has taken me hours. Will probably re-arrange it when I see it in the daylight tomorrow lol. I am always fiddling with it once it is up. going to make a cuppa now and relax for a bit before bed.

Sheils, good idea for your DD to keep an eye on DH's bp. You can buy the bp machines fairly cheap in lloyds pharmacy. I think I paid around £10 for mine but really comes in handy! Hope you manage to get a good break with your points.

I'm so ready for breaking up tomorrow! Then maybe I can get prepared for chrimbo! I'm just watching something on tv where a man celebrates Xmas every day of the year, leaving decorations up, eating Xmas dinner, opening presents! :eek: Once a year is enough but I do love Xmas time!

Well done getting your tree up Rose :j It's such a blessing when the tree is up and finished!

This seems to have been a busy week. It has felt like Xmas is nearly here too as we are having our Xmas meal on Saturday and exchanging presents with DS3. As he says he is working about 15/16 hours on Xmas day so won't be special for him. Having my parents and DD up too although think DD's bf will be working.
DS2 is getting the keys to his cafe today and his gf and him are going to try and get it spruced up to open on boxing day so they aren't really doing Xmas as all their money and effort is going into it.
My friend's funeral is this afternoon which I'm not looking forward to. DH, DS3 and DD are coming too as our two families were brought up together really sharing lifts to playgroup, nurseries, school, brownies football etc. Should be a huge funeral I would think.

Well done on win and weight loss Sylvia. You are doing so well.

Might have a look for bp machine in Lloyds pharmacy if I see one wingo.
Don't think we have many in Scotland but will be about I expect!!!
Make most of Xmas. I used to love it too but as family have moved away and /or working and no kids in family it is just a bit boring. DS3 looking forward to Xmas meal on Saturday though even though he is cooking!

Must get on with some comps as really not managing to do that many these days. Good luck all.

Passed my mini exam at the weekend - phew! Of course a question about the one bit I didn't have time to study came up, didn't it?! Ah well.

Hello peeps. AprilLady well done with your exam. Dull and damp here this morning but does not seem so cold. Been fiddling with Christmas Tree already. Nipped down to shops and bought some more baubles as have done tree in gold this year and don't have a lot of them (Do a different colour every year) Have a huge box full of different colours that I have collected over the years. DS wants me to make soup for him and the kids so slow cooker is on. I will have that as well I think with some cheesy crusty bread. Been up to see neighbours kitchen and it is fab. She has those glossy doors which seem to be all the rage at the minute. Anyway hope you are all well.

I'm the same as you rose with my Christmas tree!
I keep faffing and fiddling with mine too - a lot of the
hanging ornaments/bits and bobs also hold a lot of
happy family memories for me :grinheart and they all
have to be just so!

I've seen that programme too wingo about the guy
who celebrates Christmas every day of the year! :eek:
Once a year is enough for me! :j
