Morning everyone. Dull and dry here this morning. Kitchen fitters are going good guns up stairs. Heading out for an hour or so after i have lunch so will be away from the banging and drilling for a while. Hope everyone is well.

Hi everyone,

Had a busy day so far, We were away getting a big shop for our early Xmas dinner and then we were at the dentist. DH has a phone appointment with Dr later too about blood pressure - think it will be ok as it was borderline before and it is down slightly now. Not as much as he had hoped but down anyway.
Just had message from DD who is doing a double shift today so that she can get Friday off to go to neighbours funeral and she got an A in her actual exam so she is really chuffed.
Had a few little wins on the Quidco instant after days of trying- got £12 now. (2x£5 and 2x£1) Also got a £1 from GfK Media so every little helps.
Spoke to BSue's daughter on FB this morning. She is engaged now which would have delighted Sue. She was so keen that her daughter found someone.
Hope everyone is having a good day and has lots of luck.

Thats fantastic your DD getting an A Sheils, congratulations to her and well done on your little wins. Glad B.Sue's DD has found someone, as you say it would have pleased her, must be a sad time for her DD.

Well done to your DD shiels and well done on your wins Finally got all Christmas cards written and posted and I bet I have someone.who I have not remebered. Next year I am going to sit down and go through the list to see who I can cut down on. Don't mind the cost of the cards but the postage is becoming too expensive.

Thanks everyone, DD is not someone who got A's very often in the past so is really happy.

Don't blame you for wanting to cut down on your cards postage rose. We only post some relatives cards and just a few friends . We hand deliver all the local cards on our walks. Got a shock when we bought our stamps though.

I have yet to buy cards Rose! Luckily I don't get as many as I used to but I have nowhere to put them so don't really bother much with cards.

Hope you've had an easy relaxing day Alfie. I agree it has been warm today! I keep reading that it's going to get colder but it never does!

I guessed you would have remembered BSues bday too fire**fly. I used to have a bday list but lost it. I don't always check the birthdays so something must have told me to check it. Hope you've had a good day with comps

It was a bit of a hectic day at Xmas dinner but only a couple of days left at school now. My brother isn't well again. They were keeping him in but no beds so he has to go back in morning. He hates staying in anyway so would gladly come back home. They are going to do transfusion tomorrow hopefully but sending him for cameras as his HP is very low and his knees are swelled. They took him to drain off fluid from them but nothing came out and they are talking about bone marrow too. Hopefully the blood transfusion will pick him up a bit. He's lost loads of weight.

Any luck on advents anyone? I'm just doing the odd few here and there.

I'm very unorganised this year Sheils, I haven't even got all the Xmas presents in yet. I do love Xmas and the run up to it but I'm just not motivated enough yet!
