Really windy already here this morning. Can't believe "Barbara" will be targetting Xmas so exactly. Such a shame - just hope everyone manages to get to their families. I remember the worry of DS1 coming over from Bermuda for Xmas and having to change planes at Gatwick. He nearly didn't make it once as although weather was bad here it was the wind in Bermuda that delayed his flight! Quite glad he isn't coming from Sydney until the summer this year. More sensible anyway than leaving the sun to come to the winter here.

Hope you have a brilliant Xmas too Alfie. Love your Xmas pics today.

Thanks everyone for all the pics. Very cheery.

Woke up to thick fog here once it was light. As I write fog has suddenly disappeared and sun is out. I thought Alfie was being optimistic about a sunny day today.

Sylvia thanks for the info on Sainsbury's pick up. Will tell DD2 has she has one near her.

Rose well done on the pampering hope you thoroughly enjoyed yourself and feel great.

Here we made quite good progress yesterday. DH asked why we hadn't started wrapping presents earlier! My hands make one terrible mess of it but will help him today. Hopefully another quite day today before they all come tomorrow.

Thanks for the Christmas wishes Alfie. I'm sure you will enjoy your families visit.

Firefly well done on doll win. I'm not that keen on the dolls about now but going on our GD the children love them.

I've had another Goodreads win this morning and the last one turned up yesterday from the author with good wishes inside. I've been luck with them this year.

Just been going through yesterday's emails and found one from Show film first just going to see if there might be any tickets left but I doubt it.

Well had quite a productive day in the end. Could do with another week of preparation but DS and GKs are coming tomorrow.

At lunch time I went into kitchen and looked at windows and thought what has happened windows covered with in splashes. Lo the sun had come out hadn't it. All I could think was well done Alfie for cleaning all your windows.

Hope everyone is having a good evening. Here need to persuade DH to wrap a few more prezzys
