Just won my first advent..lol. A calender "in the bight garden" won one last year as well.

Wishing you all a very happy 1st December. :rudolf:

Brrrrr! It's another chilly start to the day here, Jack Frost
paid us a visit through the night bringing outside temperatures
down to about -7.

The sun is shining away though but not expecting any
warmth from it. Yesterday it was so chilly - after I'd
cleared the ice out of the bird baths and topped them
up with fresh water, went out again at lunchtime and
they had a light film of ice on them again! :eek:

Have put out extra food for feathered critters etc and also
the Starlings are back and they have more chicks - crikes
they must be very hardy! They usually visit me 2-3 times
a year to nest.

Love seeing them though cos a few years back they were
on the endangered list.

Thankfully now they are protected. :T

Morning peeps. Blue sky here but boy is it cold. Well done on win indie. Have a few advents in a folder but most of the prizes are very poor this year. Seem to remember there was a fall in quality of prizes last year as well. Hope everyone is keeping warm and if not put on a big jumper. Good luck to anyone who is an advent fanatic.

Thanks! It's just part time college and I started in October, but it's quite intense and we've already had a mini exam and another on the 10th!!

Agree with you there rose, been through them and very disapointed. Not many with prizes that interest me.All the big ones don't seem to be having them this year.

Hi everyone,

Just got back from our overnight in the Lakes. Had a great time and did a fair bit of hill walking both days - to a waterfall yesterday and a tarn (small lake) today.
Just had a message through from Sylvia and she says Fred is fine and was having his lunch and causing bother already so that is a relief for her.
I am off to look at these advents as wifi at hotel no good in bedroom although fine downstairs.

If you use the search function to search for a date -
it will only show a max of 200 results,
no good for end of month comps where there are lots more
............................
