Good Morning,
Bit frosty here again but not too bad.
Got to go to my parents this morning and sort some financial things out for them but other than that not much on. Got a few things in wash.
DD coming for dinner. Can't believe how keen she is on our cooking now she has left home! She is getting all her Xmas present orders sent here which is disappointing every time I answer the door to the delivery men.
Hope everyone has a lovely day.

Hi everyone, hope you have all had a good day.
Did OK yesterday, went for eyes tested at Boots and ordered new glasses. When it came to £185 I said it was too much and asked if she would ask the Manager if he could knock any off! (if you dont ask you dont get) she came back and they had knocked £38 off so only paid £150.
Well done on the cook book Rose.
Hope DS feels better soon.
Have a lovely evening evryone.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -

:wave: Hi everyone
Brrrr! We had an early morning frost here but once it had
cleared it was a beautiful sunny day but a tad chilly!
Had to trot out to get some provisions this morning so wore
my nice new cozy coat fairly recently purchased from
Matalan ...
Not been able to wear it up to now cos on the whole the
weather has been fairly mild.
It was a bargain (fake sheepskin) and is sooo comfortable! Also
dug out winter tartan scarf to wear as well - so even though I
say so myself .... I actually looked quite trendy.
:rotfl::rotfl:
Lol wingo - no Red Bull for me, just gallons of coffee through
the day!
I quite like Primark wingo
think they've upped their game
a bit of late.
Your DD1 sounds such a sweet soul ... I can
understand your other two wanting latest designs though.
This year I treated myself to one of their Xmas jumpers - it's
quite quirky with bag of letters (2 of each) for putting your
own message on! Lol - think I'm going a tad crazy this year!
:whistle: :rotfl::rotfl:
Here it is but without the Primark lettering ..... only cost me
£12! :j

That's awful about your poor son and his friend being 'studded'
when playing football against the bloomin' dreadful other
team!
And how dare their manager threaten your DH!
:eek::eek:
hope you manage to get out in garden Alfie,
too nice to be cleaning but know it has to be done :eek:
Lol! You know me so well fire**fly! :whistle: I have an
admission.
I actually started doing the windows in the
morning and, as it was such a beautiful day - I ended up
in the garden pottering about - even managed to give the
lawns a light mow. :j

Went to Docs for thyroid bloods and they were much more thorough than in Durham. Took my blood pressure and were not best pleased and said if it is still the same in 2 weeks will have to have a 24 hour monitor, sigh. She was pleased that I am going to Slimming World so that saved he having to tell me to get the weight off too!
:j Very well done to your DH sylv on his wonderful win! :j
:T

Good Morning,
Just popped in to wish everyone a "Happy St. Andrew's Day"
Heading off for our night in the Lakes at about 9.30am I think. Hotel doesn't have internet in bedrooms so probably won't pop in later.
Last time we went to Ullswater area there was flooding and we nearly got caught in it all so checked forecast carefully and booked late this time!
Going to climb up to Aira Force waterfall today.
Will be busy when we get back tomorrow sorting out the Advents.
Wishing everyone lots of luck.
