Rose, thanks for reminder about choc orange as I forgot to get hubby one. Vinyls are making a comeback so don't get rid of those records just yet! I had hundreds of them which I collected over years, some very rare too. DH decided to put them in garage and told me it would be safe but the garage flooded and most of them warped. I was furious with DH at the time.

Fire**fly, I hope you managed to catch up after your unexpected visitor. It's usually the case when I want to do something!

You're very organised Sheils doing your Xmas cards! I spoke too soon saying I haven't received any as there was one in door when I came home from work!

I think I've got bored with the advents already! They're too overwhelming!
Was on bus earlier with DD and we had to laugh at the amount of people who spoke on their phones extremely loud so everyone could hear their conversation! I might try it one day and just have a really random conversation just to see the reaction of people!

Looks like it is going to be a nice day here.
Enjoying doing a few Advents and meaning to do the Times hourly too.
A Harrods hamper would be great. Going to send DD a link and see if she will enter too. Don't suppose she will be waken for a while though with all her travelling and doing a mixture of early and late shifts.

Thanks FireFly. I slept till 8.30 only woke once but cold still here. Head feels ok it's just from the nose down no temperature so not too bad. Pleased you got your comps posted.

Rose great you caught neighbour's little one. Last week DS said he caught a child falling out of a shopping trolley at the checkout. He said it was only quite a young baby. I think he was quite shocked.

Sheils thanks for the one up about Times comp. would love a hamper. Think I have just gone in for a voucher for two nights with one dinner at a Best Loved hotel for £79 each. Will need to look at terms again.

Wingo lo to your vinyls. DH has cupboards of Jazz ones and don't mention the football programmes.

Lol leanfun my DH also has a box full of footie programmes, funnily enough they are not in the wet garage though!

Good luck with the Harods hamper comp Sheils It would be nice to win a hamper. I used to love it when Mam got the hampers when we were younger, it felt so much like Xmas then!

Good luck with the times and other comps everyone I'm going to a festive market thing in the woods and hall round the corner. Got lots to do but comps are just toooo tempting!

Good morning everyone, sorry not been in but its been a really busy time with DH being in hospital. Anyway, he is home now and doing well and with a successful outcome so thats good. Had to get ambulance early this morning as he collapsed by the side of the bed but they couldn't find anything untowards and tod us to go to docs tomorrow. He is OK now though.

Well done on any wins while I have been off.
