Lo at a few more hours in the day from Santa, Indie.
Rose hope you have a call soon to fetch DS. GKs must be excited.
Sylvia hope all is well.
Well done April.
Alfie be careful out there in the cold. I think it's supposed to be warmer later in the week.
This morning I had a WEM to say I'd won a Scooby Doo DVD so that will be great for GKs.
Thanks for the pics FireFly and Alfie.0 -
Well done on DVD win leanfun. Good win for a little extra for them. GK's don't get told he will be home untill phone call comes leanfun but they are getting old enough now to know it can't be far off. They used to fret when they were younger if they were told it wont be long now. Especially GD. Then once he was home she was like his shadow following him everywhere.0

Hi everyone, well done on the wins today.
Took DH to doctors and they checked him over. They say he is getting up too quickly and needs to steady himself standing up before walking. Think its due to the blood pressure dropping. He is OK but gets tired easily but its early days.
Glad the your DS is coming home for Christmas Rose, the kids will be thrilled to see him I expect.
Well done getting organised for Christmas firefly.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
Goodness that must be very frightening for your Dh sylvia. You as well. Hugs for you both. Watching Robbie Williams here sis is getting me a ticket for next June to see him in Edinburgh. (Xmas present) she is coming as well. Prefer him on his own but don't mind take that although I am not generally a pop fan. Although he does do other genres of music in his cd's and concerts and the youngsters love it as much. GS loves him and he and I have a boogie and a singsong at time. DS is a fan as well he belts out millenium like you wouldn't believe lol. Good you are organised ff I have most of cards written so just need to get to Post Office and spend a fortune on stamps to send them ( Why do I write more cards every year. Used to have a list of cards I sent but have given up now as I receive more and more every year) and only have odds and ends to buy. Food is organised DIL Her DM and I sorted that out with a list a couple of weeks ago. I am doing main and cheeseboard her mum is doing starters and sweets and dil is doing wine, soft drinks and beer. DB and sil are bringing veggies and nibbles. So menu sorted for the day.0

glad it's sorted & freds ok sylv xx
sounds right re DH getting up to quickly as my DH
used to get that as well,
don't know if it will help fred but if he takes a few deep
breaths then slowly stretches out arms & legs tweaking
toes & fingers & rolls gently on his side before getting up hopefully it should help,
since my DH has been doing
this he's been ok when getting up.
sounds great re the Robbie Williams concert rose &
lovely of your sis to get you a ticket
sounds like you are well organised for the day,
I can't comment re cost of stamps as I've never bought
any for years!please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
ff I do a survey thing and get stamps if you know what I mean but at Christmas it gets ridiculous. Costs me a fortune for cards and stamps as have so many to send. Wish peeps wouldn't send me I could paper living room with them and it is 18' x 12'then dining room is 12' x 12' not that I do not appreciate them I do just do not have as much ready cash as I used to. It has mostly been put away for son and gk's. Do not think I have loads just been carefull with what I have earned and left by my mum.0

Wow fire**fly and Rose, you are both very organised with organising Xmas! I'm with indie...except I could do with a few extra weeks to get organised!
Well done on the wins April and Leanfun :j Lovely winsI get OK excited when I see the email saying 'thank you for entering' then it's usually...'here's 10% off when you spend £100 on our website!
Sylvia, hope DH will be ok soon. Xx Is he on tablets for his BP? Glad he is now out of hospital and hope he's putting his feet up!
My bro kept fainting last week and scan shows he has a hiatus hernia, diverticulitis again and needs a blood transfusion. There's never a dull moment with bro!
Sheils, hope you're enjoying yourself on your break and don't get one of those demon haircuts!Loved the pic!
I seemed to have misplaced all my coursework somewhere and I'm on the course tomorrow! I've been trying to re-trace my steps from last week and I now think I may have left it in a store after picking up a large Xmas present. I think I left it on the floor.Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
Wingo I hate those e/mails would rather they said you have not won instead of getting your hopes up .Goodness wingo hope your brother is ok . I know how I feel when I faint I come around and say am I ok. It can be frightening when peeps say you have fainted or collapsed. I think I faint because my blood pressure seems to go down then I get tabs and then it can go up and I get headaches like you wouldn't believe. Had real problems when I was pregnant with son and he is now 34 which is why I didn't have any more children.0
