Good Morning everyone,

Have had a lovely little break (last of year!) Still in Falkirk at the moment but heading home later. Have been to see Loch Rannoch which I always wanted to see and stopped at Queen's View at Loch Tummel and then Pitlochry and saw DS2 and 3. Was in Perth too and saw Falkirk wheel again although it is having maintenance work on it at the moment so not working.
Had some bad news last night that a friend and neighbour has died of bowel cancer, she was only 52. It was expected but still upsetting. Her oldest 2 kids were best friends with DS3 and DD for many years. They have both been in touch with their friends. So horrid when these things happen just before Xmas.
Anyway, hope everyone has a lucky day.

Good morning all, seems like the sun is coming out here today. DS is supposed to be coming to see us today and take us out for breakfast but no sign of him as yet.

So sorry about your neighbour/friend Sheils. It always seems worse so close to Christmas.

I've have three calls in three days from 01280 458 739 but don't recognise it. I've tried Googling it and various phone number search websites but nothing comes up. I've rang it but it just goes on hold or is engaged tone. Any clues?

Home again. Been a dreadful day here with rain - journey home was wet,windy and foggy. Just as well we had our walk at Falkirk before we left.

Yeah fire**fly it has been quite warm and humid hasn't it! I think we may have snow on the way as it tends to get warmer before snowing!

I wanted to go Xmas shopping this morning as wasn't in work until late but grumpy git wouldn't go! He's more of a 'leave everything to me' kind of person! I started wrapping the few presents I had in instead and he comes upstairs to ask me what I was doing! Errr....wrapping paper, presents, sellotape, tags ...I'm cooking the dinner, what does it look like I'm doing!!

Hi borb12 - I also googled and came up with Buckingham as
the area code but after that .... nothing. I've got a feeling
it may be a dreaded nuisance call or something similar.

I got myself some charity Christmas cards yesterday - I
send out quite a few and would rather pay for some
where a % of the cost goes to good causes. :T

So ... no prizes for guessing what I'll be doing today!

It is dark, foggy and gloomy here - hope it is better where you are.
DH going for hair cut today. I should have made an appointment too I think as hair getting a bit wild!
