Good morning. Just been back to see the nurse as blood pressure was up last time. Have taken reading at home and when I showed her them she went to see the Doc and came back with pills, sigh. Have to go back in 3 weeks.

Damp here today although not so cold. Hope its better where you are.

DH has just won more reading glasses LOL.

Colder here this morning compared to yesterday. Planning on going out just not motivated enough yet to get backside in to gear. Water Board were here earlier seemingly we have a burst pipe in the courtyard. Not seen any evidence of it but they are coming back later. Hope everyone is well. Take care and be lucky.

Hydro Wave are back and are shutting of entrance to courtyard. So had to move out Ds's car and go to three other neighbours with one of the men and get them to move theirs or they would not be able to get them out. What is it with the utility companies not giving you prior warning. Just as well we have a spare bit of ground across the road that we can use. Also had to sign a form allowing them on to the land and dig it up.

Thats annoying about the blood pressure Sylvia. DH goes back on Monday to get his checked again. We have been putting lots of effort into healthy eating and even more excercise but when we go away we probably drink more than we should! DD has checked it and the bottom reading had gone well down but top one still bit high. He really doesn't want to take more pills for it.

Hope weather is better for you now FF - sun shining faintly here.

Work men really annoying rose. Hoping the ones outside our gate are just finishing the tarmacking. Been about for 2 months I think. Glad you got your cars out anyway. We haven't moved ours today.

Well done on win ff. Workmen have gone as I asked them did they have permission to dig up old horse and cart entrance outside my door. They had not a clue what I was talking about. Told them about Grade II listing so they got on to office and were told to leave. It actually at the end of the day means they have to replace it as they found it which means disclaimer does not apply. Had same problem with gas being brought in and they had to take the pipes round the side of the building rather than underground. So we have a leak that they detected on their techy thing we can't see it but it is there. Know from gas guys that they have to get specialist help in to remove and replace so god knows what will happen now as you cannot take water mains round a building. Have signed along with three others "Leakage Detectction" Find and fix. but I know without other authorisation they can't which is why I gave them information.

Hope everyone is well, Well done on the wins this week. I have been busy with work and just manageing to get dailys done. I have had a couple of wins, 1 with Dickies, won a beanie and 1 with a netmums comp. won a Fisher-Price Blaze Monster Dome playset. So pleased with those.Got a day off sunday and a couple of days off next week so looking forward to those.

Relatively new comper, entered over 230 this week so far.

Can anyone give me any tips from personal experience please?

The comps i dislike a lot are the 'offers' ones. Are these legitimate competitions?
