afternoon peeps. dull and damp again no winds no rain just miserable. Got slow cooker on making soup for GK's they and DIL will be here later. Their other gran is coming as well. Need to finish of my Christmas Shopping but have been on QVC so much cannot remember what I have and what I don't. Have bought a load of food, Yankee Candles and other things but really need wrapping paper me thinks. Kiddywink Amazon cards are here but pressy needs to be bought as well as DS she is working christmas day this year (NHS).

Hope you're all ok .... Angus came a visiting last night :eek:
I've never seen/heard so much rain/wind as we had
yesterday! :eek: The day deteriorated from starting off as
such a beautiful morning to a mix of heavy rain, wind
etc ending up a tad stormy

Puddy cat spent the night hiding/sleeping under the duvet :grinheart

Luckily not much damage done at all, just a couple of
garden chairs over, few small branches down and a
million leaves covering the ground which I started to rake
up this morning

All is calm now weather wise

*Sigh* ..... I'm really hoping that the dreadfully deluded
Phoney G doesn't get through tonight :eek: but I've got a
horrible feeling that she'll win the show outright :eek: Yay
for Nicole telling her what we've all been thinking :T:T:T

When I was a young thing I had a pair of skates very
similar to these :eek: one size fits all! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:



The only problem I had with them was when I tried to do
a pirouette on uneven ground (not the best of ideas :cool:)
- I toppled over and snapped my wrist! Ouch! Think my
parents hid them away, never to be seen again

Morning,

Another cold, frosty morning here. Don't think we will be out for a walk until the afternoon and if it is like yesterday it will still be slippy in places.
Internet really bad again and phone line dead again so hope they come back today. Haven't had any messages from them yet.
