Lidl have a competition to win a family trip to London and visit to the London dungeons. Anyone want my receipt code? A trip to London isn't much use to me as I live here already :D

PM me if you'd like it. First come first served.

Good evening everyone, didn't go to Seaton in the end. Was taking Lottie to DD's for her to look after and it was torential rain so rang and said we would go next Sunday instead as didn't want to be driving in those conditions. Wished I had gone later as we had lovely sunshine!

Think the rain has been pretty general by the what you are all saying.

Oh Rose, I used to get very bad ears when I was little too, I think its one of the worst places for pain so hope it eases us for you so you can get a good nights sleep.

Made a veg chillie for tea so hope its nice. Was naughty earlier and had bacon (grilled) and fried egg and some white bread so trying to get back on track LOL before Thrusday weigth in.

    Have a lovely evening everyone.

    Good Morning,

Going to be a wet day I think. Still school holidays here so only to be expected. Must get the ironing done anyway!
DS2 gone back to agency work so that he can get some time off with his gf . He backed out of leasing the hotel as owner was dictating too many things. Anyway he is in Arran just now. He drove 2 hours to ferry, then an hour crossing and 15 mins drive to hotel last night and when he got there at 7.30pm they got him to work! Bet he wasn't expecting that.
Have made a bit of an effort with the comps as hadn't really entered any this month. Must have a look at the Mag Dailies again although there doesn't seem to be as many exciting prizes as usual on them.
    Wishing everyone a lucky week.

    Hope you're all ok. :)

Sorry to hear that your ear is still very painful rose.

Thankfully you managed to get an appointment at the
surgery for this afternoon. Hopefully they can establish
why you're in so much discomfort with it and set you
    right with appropriate meds.

Please let us know how you get on. xxx

Crikes - Lol at the weather of late! It really can't make up
    its mind. :p

Sunny one minute, raining the next, then back to
    sun again!

Evening peeps been to doctors. Got eardrops and have to try and keep ear warm I have an infection in my middle ear. Have to go back to docs if it does not clear up within 3/4 days. Doc says drops will numb ear so that I do not have so much pain. Just about hit the roof when he used his scope/light thing to look into it. Have not to get water in to it so will have to be carefull in shower ( will just have a bath instead) Also hair washing is out until it has cleared up. He also explained the dizziness that is happening occasionally is because of the infection. It does not last long just have to get my balance if I stand up quickly or sit up from a lying down position. So that was my exciting appointment with doc.

Hope your ear is better soon rose - sounds nasty.
Remember DH being up all night with ear ache many years ago. Think he just got antibiotics though. It got better really quickly.

Actually had quite a nice day here as the rain didn't arrive until tonight.
We have Gas workers on the street for the next 4 weeks though and at least one day we won't have any gas and they will need to check things before it goes back on. They are digging holes and replacing pipes everywhere so will be fun!
