Thought I would contine the cat and woolly hat theme LOL.

It was certainly a woolly hat day yesterday. Went out with DS and it was really windy and cold but ha a good time with him.

Shame you hadn't got the lottery ticket Wingo, its no use us looking as we dont do it now a days.

Sound like you had a lovely roast with the family Sheils.

Not sure why but it feels colder in Yorkshire than it ever did in Durham, or perhaps I am just feeling the cold more this year.

Loving the pics today everyone, thanks. Must get on as am taking neighbour to the Vets with her 3 cats so they can have their jabs.

Home again. My wooly hat looks a bit like the cats lol. Net cousin whilst out and she nearly walked past me. She asked what was going on with the hat told her about my ear and she burst out laughing. She said you are so well dressed and you have fab makeup on. The wooly hat just looks silly lol. So much for family love. Just as well I know how silly I look. Never mind. Had a look at shops to see if I could find anything else but no luck.

Just in having a cuppa - it's been another beautiful
day here so have been busy busy busy in the garden.

'Fraid I'm the same as you wingo re winning stuff these
days ..... absolutely zilch for me! I just go in for the
cash ones nowadays. I much preferred the days of
writing slogans, using your wits etc - used to win loads
then, some lovely prizes too - cash, holidays etc.

It must be lovely having your DS3 home sheils - the
roast yesterday sounded scrumptious .... apart from the
pork. _pale_ Everything else though I could have wolfed
down! :drool: :T :dance: Enjoy your night off cooking. :T

Couldn't resist posting this one!
Been a beautiful day here - really quite warm. Hoping it stays like that for tomorrow. DS3 working at about 1pm so will need to head off fairly early. Don't think he will get back again until his holidays in December ,
He has been chosen as one of 2 chefs from the hotel to enter Junior Masterchef in a couple of weeks so he is quite chuffed although really nervous. He isn't expecting to make it into the last 25 but it should be good for him and all his expensives will be paid. At least it shows they have faith in his cooking!

Sheils Congrats to DS3 on being selected by the Hotel with Junior Masterchef - he might get selected to be on TV! How is DD doing at university?

Rose Hope that your ear is starting to improve. Don't worry about the hat - better to keep the ear warm and dry!
