Nipped down to Asda for a few things I needed. Bought GKs new Halloween costumes. They are hilarious. Got a Witch for GD and Dracula for GS. Also got some face crayons and a couple of pumpkins for them to carry for their goodies lol. They didn't cost much. Do not think I could have made them cheaper. Phoned DIL to tell her I had them and she was over the moon. GK's are happy as well they love getting dressed up at Halloween.

Hello all compers! I'm a fairly new at entering competitions and would like some advice. I started at beginning of October and average about 20 comps a day. I try to choose things useful or I could regift rather entering 100s of potentially useless things. I mainly stick to subscriptions and twitter and I miss out on quite a lot of Facebook ones as I don't want to flood friends news feeds with competitions!! Would you recommend starting a dummy Facebook for comping?

And secondly do you know of any Facebook comping groups? Does the mse comping forum have a private Facebook group? So I could attract some fellow comping Facebook friends to annoy with my posts!

    Very dull here this morning.

Rose GKs will love the costumes.

FireFly if you don't feel well or your have something on your mind then everything takes longer. I don't think it's age. DH does all the puzzles from the i most days. I do sudokas but when I am not with it I can easily put in a different number from the one I want to write. Lo.

Well DIL or ex DIL obtained a visa and came from USA a couple of days ago. Great for the GKs to see their Mum after over two months but we don't know what she intends to do. It's a mess is all I can say.
I think it's been a bit like Sheils said with one of her DSs and GF a very bad relationship. Ironically this week is nine years since they married in USA. None of her family wanted them to move and we certainly didn't. Just feel for our DS and GKs. We will see.

    Thanks Firefly. (Hugs too)

So pleased I started comping about two years ago. It's a great distraction and I've made some great friends in the Inn.
