Evening everyone  I realise I haven't been in for a few days! I wish I could get my ooomph back into comping!

Hope you feel better soon fire**fly xx I expect the colder weather will be making you feel worse too. I keep putting my heating on but not feeling it!

Well done on the blender win Sylvia :j Hope Fred's knee gets better soon xx I saw my brother today and he can't walk properly and in agony. Every so often the screws and pins he has in his foot causes lots of pain in the joints. Hope the dentist manages to sort your tooth out too xx

Sheils, Gleneagles looks lovely, glad you enjoyed your stay :) that's good news for your DS getting on junior master chef :)

Great bargain getting the Halloween costumes Rose, I bet the kids are pleased. I'm not too fussed on Halloween or bommy night but I guess the kids enjoy it.

I've been watching Emmerdale too Alfie. I thought it was funny with the storyline... 'have you been in them woods yet' :D I think Ashley will probably get the blame for accident though. I never used to like it when it was Emmerdale Farm but now I enjoy watching but I agree with you about eastenders, it's so boring and no story lines.

Well done on the tickets leanfun :j Hope you get to go. Fingers crossed things will work out well for DS and family. Xx

I really need to go conkering and fill the house up with them! I've found loads of big spiders all week in the house and I keep going round with the hoover everywhere! Maybe I should try the peppermint oil on the window sill :o
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

Got our heating on too wingo - hate the cold!

Hope you feel better soon FF. You will probably feel better after check up at the Drs.

Had a nice day here although the clothes didn't dry quickly as no wind and not as much heat in the sun now.
Made Eve's pudding for dinner for 1st time (using up apples we were given) I was quite pleased with myself as it tasted really nice. Did make too much though.

Evening all. Hugs for your brother wingo. I have loads of pins and screws that go from my tibia into my knee. Don't really bother me now apart from the odd ache if I have walked too much. But when I first broke my leg I was not allowed to walk on it for three months. Spent 3 weeks in hospital. Took a year to properly get on to my feet without crutches. Was a nightmare. Anyway it did hurt for a while but gradually subsided as it healed. Only get the odd ache with it now. I'm ok as long as I am not on my feet for hours. FF you take care and don't be doing too much. If anyone offers to help take it. My heating is on as well hate the cold. When the real cold weather kicks in I am like the Michelin man with the number of layers I stick on when going out lol (I am only a size 10 but you wouldn't guess with all the clothes I put on) Had dil and gk's for tea. We had home made soup with crusty bread and creamy rice pudding. While since I made them and really enjoyed it as kids and dil did too.

After op I ended up with a dropped foot as well. Didn't even know what that was so had to ask them to explain. Ended up wearing one of those ski boot type things. Like you get for a broken ankle. Had torn tendons as well. I made a right good job of it. Son said Mum when you do something you make a first class job of it lol.
