Gosh you've been through it too Rose! That's like my brother, nothing is ever straight forward for him. If he has a bleed...he bleeds too much because of warfarin! He's like terminator where he just keeps getting up and bouncing back!
Crusty bread rolls with soup ....mmmm that's delicious! I've had boring quiche, chips & beans.

I watched so much of Xfactor fire**fly and got bored so kept switching channels. Thank god I missed that dreadful honey g! Hope she gets voted off tomorrow too.

It's chucking it down here, I can hear it bouncing off the windows.

DD1, SIL and GS were here and I made sheperd's pie.

I did make it out in garden for a while in the sunshine. At least it was a start.

Keep a fold up walking stick in my bag leanfun. If leg gets a bit wobbly when I am out I whip it out lol. Manage ok most of the time. Pointless feeling sorry for yourself. I find just getting on with things helps. Don't use boot anymore.

Also have an insert thing I can put in my shoes for my dropped foot it goes under you foot and up the back of your leg and straps around front. Never used it I can manage my foot quite well. Have the occasional trip and fall but nothing serious. Have fallen more indoors tripping with my slippers on than I ever have outside.

Morning everyone,been busy at work as usual.I stayed on yesterday as they were short but came home and was in bed before 9.30. These dark nights make me feel tired as well. I had a facebook win on friday with Bannisters (Bonfire bundle) of Stuffed Jacket potatoes and skins.They are going to be delivered end of next week.Son won a pair of glasses on a daily mag so a good end to the week.I have today off then back to work for a couple of days,and hopefully off till next weekend.Will have to see what shifts come in.Hope you all have a good day.

Morning all. Clear blue sky here this morning but boy is it chilly. Went out to bring bin in and didn't put a jacket on and was hugging radiator when I came back inside. Indie well done to you and ds on wins. Hope everyone has a good day.

Slippers will be less supportive to the foot than shoes. At least you are able to get about with minimal discomfort.

What annoys me is that hospital staff fit orthotics or inserts in your shoes and ask you to walk up and down the hospital corridor which is perfectly smooth and totally unlike the pavements outside.
