Good afternoon all, hope you are OK today, if not big hugs for you.
Glad you are back safe Sheils, we have bedding in the washer waiting to go out but doubt it will dry today as its too damp. Is that your breaks done for a while or have you more booked?
Loving the pics today thanks for them. Tried to put one on myself but only have Google Chrome installed at the moment and dont want to install anything else until I am sure things are OK with the laptop. Also can't remember how to do it on chrome LOL.
It will be nice for you to have the day to yourself Indie, try and do something nice.
Will try and pop back in later, must go check the oil and water in the car as we are having the day at Seaton tomorrow to see the family.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
 Good afternoon everyone!
Hope you're all ok.
Don't know what happened to 'the predicted rain' we
were supposed to have .... no sign of it at all. It's lovely
and sunny with just the odd cloud floating by - maybe
we'll be getting some wet stuff later on!
Welcome back sheils! Pleased you had a lovely
time.
Hope your DD2 is feeling a bit better today wingo. I
saw the news re Jean Alexander this morning - very
sad. So talented .... loved watching her in Corrie and
also Last of the Summer Wine - couldn't believe it when
I read that she had played the part of Auntie Wainwright
for 22 years! Where did the time go!
Pleased you got your lappy back sylv - have a lovely
time at Seaton tomorrow seeing your family.
Well this won't do, time to get on! Have a lovely
Saturday all and take care.

Yeah lovely pics today FF and Alfie. I did find one and thought I had put it on but it vanished!
Been a bit damp here so most of washing went in drier, still got some stuff on line that I will need to check soon.
We have break in Blackpool booked for end of month Sylvia so will see the Illuminations before they finish.
Hope you get a nice day for Seaton tomorrow.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Hi all. Busy and tiring day here with three GKs. They had a great time in local park while it was sunny early afternoon. Poured about 5pm.
Sylvia hope you have a great day tomorrow at Seatin.
Wingo hope DD2 is feeling better.
Indie hope you had a restful day off.
Firefly great yo hear you are feeling better.
Sheils we usually go to the same hotel for the main part of our holiday. Monday is the popular flight day and as the airport is very small and hot it's too much for DH so we often go or come back early and try out different hotels on the Island.
We never thought we would be going to the same place again. We have been to lots of places in Engkand and Scotland and Europe but we love Madeira. We made holiday friends who have moved there and other friends there. The people are very friendly and positive in their outlook.
This time my sister came in on a cruise ship for a day with another couple. She married again recently and DH does not fly. We had a great day with them. Only problem was her DH does not like heights or drops and on Madeira you are either going up or down and the roads are narrow with drops. It's so bad they built the airport runway on stilts at sea.
Forgot to say I had a WEM yesterday for tickets to Kew and a book.

Turns out DH has never been there and tickets are valid for a year.
Hope everyone has a good weekend.0 -

Well setting off soon for Seaton Carew, not meeting up until 2pm as the DH has to work this morning. Hope its better weather there than it is here.
Hope you all have a lovely day. DH says he is having a day off from the comps, very unusual for him!BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
Good Morning,
It is raining here too FF although not that heavily.
Hope it will be better for Sylvia's Seaton trip.
Sounds like DS3 is going to try and get home for a couple of nights on Tuesday so will need to get his room back to normal for him as I used it for DS2s stay. He hasn't had much time off since he went to Gleneagles so will be missing his friends. His phone has died though so difficult to get in touch to get his correct plans. New one being delivered to him tomorrow though he hopes.
Well done on another win leanfun. Best I have done is £1 from GfK media and 25p and 10p from Topcashback!
Hope everyone has a lovely day.

Afternoon peeps. Have a really painfull sore ear. It is driving me nuts. Not had a sore ear in years. Used to get them a lot when I was a child. Hopefully I may get some sleep tonight. Weather not so great here today. Rain has been on and off. Hope everyone is well.0

 Good afternoon everyone!
So sorry to hear of your sore ear rose. Must be
really painful, especially keeping you awake at night.
Hope it starts to improve soon. xxx

Errm - if it's ok I think I'll pass on your kind offer this
time fire**fly!:eek: :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
We actually had torrential rain throughout the night ....
which thankfully cleared up this morning :j but the
garden is fairly soggy now!
In fact it's been a glorious day here - blue sky and
sunny, just starting to cloud over now. Hope it's not
going to rain again - else I'll be swimming around
the garden.
Haven't been out there working today though cos I
thought I should really catch up with boring chores etc
and get them all done and dusted ... and yay, they are!
So now sitting down, having a cuppa and relaxing.
Forgot to say I had a WEM yesterday for tickets to Kew and a book.

:j Lovely win leanfun - very well done! :j:T
Your holiday in Madeira sounds wonderful and how lovely
to meet up with your sister and DH and their friends from
the cruise liner!
It will be nice to have DS3 home for a couple of days
sheils - sounds as if he's been very busy at Gleneagles.
Well, time to do a few comps me thinks! Have a
lovely rest of the weekend all and take care.
