Alfie, great quote! Bathing a dog is so frustrating, I always end up soaked and soapy! You only have to mention the word bath and jasper runs to his bed. If I walk over to him he lays on his back or he begs ..probably saying 'please don't bath me!' DH bathed him today and he spent the next 10 mins growling and yapping at DH!

I've been making pancakes tonight as they were cheap for the mix in shop. I did buy them to make puddings actually but the kids saw them and thought it was pancake day! Oh and I had the mother of all spiders in my kitchen! _pale_ the horrible thing tormented the life out of me when I tried to get it in my spider catcher!

It's been raining though the night but has eased off
now - thank goodness! Had beautiful weather yesterday
and got plenty done in my garden so hoping to
get out there again today after getting in provisions,
catching up with comps etc etc!

Good morning all, lovely sunny day here so washer is on. The nights are really drawing in now.

Its my DD1's birthday today, I think she will be really feeling it as its the first for a long time without us around to do her a nice tea etc.
