    :wave: Hi all!

    Have a lovely time at Morecambe sheils - the rain dance
    can wait until later. ;) Besides, it's too warm here to be
    doing anything that energetic! :grin: :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    Will wait until it's cooled down a tad. :p

    Lol indie & fire**fly re the spiders! :p I must be a sucker
    for punishment cos I went in there again this morning and
    I swear they were waiting for me! :eek:

    spider07.gif

    I certainly didn't linger though :eek: ..... had a very quick
    sweep, swiftly put everything back .... and retreated at
    the speed of light! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Wish me luck cos I'm going back in there again in a
    mo! :p

    Just had a surprise parcel delivery. It was five Kids DVDs and they have only watched one. Wow what about great timing. Another one from Laks.

    :j Very well done winning the five kids DVDs leanfun -
    what perfect timing! :j :D :T:T:T

    The Lemon Grass spray will be brilliant for this time of
    year, with all the waspies and midges about! :T :dance:

    It's very hot here at the mo, thankfully got most of my
    chores done and dusted early this morning too while it
    was still cool - including the dreaded ironing! :eek: :whistle:

    Pleased you're feeling ok today sylv after your fall
    yesterday. If you happen to get rain .... please pass it
    on to me, preferably later on this evening. :p Thank you
    kindly. :D

    Catch up with you all later. :)

    Back home now and sun still shining away. Have my first wash load out on the line and second wash in machine. DS3 was on 4 days off when we went away so more washing than usual. DH has been out and cut the front lawn too so not so much to do tomorrow. Rain due on Friday unless Alfie's rain dance works earlier.

    Well done on your wins leanfun.

    I have had 3 little wins - 2 x £1 from GfK Media. Don't know why there are 2, one came yesterday and one today, unless they were late with last weeks winners. Also won another Jordan's Granola which will be nice.

    Well done on your wins Leanfun :j I remember watching top cat as a kid :)

    Hope you feel better soon after your fall Sylvia and I agree with Rose, arnica is a natural healing remedy that you can get from herbal shops if you do get aches and bruising. I remember a midwife telling me to get it after a difficult birth.

    Glad you enjoyed Morecame Sheils and well done on the little wins too! :)

    Alfie, please don't do your rain dance on Saturday as I'm at my brothers wedding and don't want my hair to go frizzy! :D Good luck with the critters! There was a tarantula found on a fence at a local beauty spot near us! :eek: I won't be going there again! _pale_ (not unless fire**fly comes with me cos she's not scared of spiders! ;) ) :D

    Hope you've had an easy shift at work indie :)

    Our kids go back on 5th & 6th sept. I'm back on 5th. I must admit they've been no bother these weeks off and helped out around the house. I wonder if it's excitement for our hol next week!
    Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

    Morning peeps. Sky a bit dull and cloudy here. Hopefully it will clear in a few hours. Not so warm as it was thankfully. It will give me a few hours to get things done. Love the sunshine and the heat but first thing it is a problem for me as I cannot stand sweating it out when I do anything about the house or going out.

    Dull here as well rose but sun supposed to come out later though.
    Rain forecast for tomorrow and staying until Tuesday I think!

    You will be having an exciting time wingo with a wedding and then a holiday. Think our schools go back today. Don't have to bother about that any more. It came up on my memories on FB yesterday that we took DD and her friend to Ayr to get school stuff a year past . DD went there on Monday with her bf to buy stuff for Uni and go to the beach . She is so grown up now and working long hours to save money as she isn't supposed to work while on her nursing course as they get a bursary.

    Hopefully get all washing dry and get beds changed today. DH going to get the back lawn cut. Grass pretty high as he couldn't get it done last week before we went away as it was too wet. Need some food shopping too. Going to be home for a bit apart from one night away as we need one more stay before end of month to accumulate a load of points from Holiday Inns. Have two long breaks next month.
    Good Luck everyone.

    Hope you're all ok. :)

    Only had a sprinkling of rain at some point through
    the night so must try harder with the rain dance! :D

    peeking out now and again ....

    warmer!

    Lol wingo, going by my failure to conjure up any decent
    rain, I think you'll be frizz free and fine for your brothers
    wedding. :p :rotfl::rotfl:

    :eek: Was is a proper tarantula found at your local beauty
    spot? :eek::eek::eek:

    Yesterday I spent most of the time capturing the wee
    (or not so wee!) hairy blighters with large glass and card
    and put them out in the garden!

    Wasn't so worried about the little 'uns, but can't be doing
    with the larger ones scurrying about my feet when I'm
    trying to get on with clearing/cleaning the garage/shed. :eek:
