Lol wingo .... I'm the same as fire**fly re gardening - take
my time doing it bit by bit! Plus I do tend to be in a

Oh, forgot to mention ..... had a bloomin' power cut
yesterday - only for a few hours but it seemed like an

Isn't it strange how we rely on things sooo much!
Think it was something to do with workmen digging
nearby!

Alfie and Firefly great that you can enjoy your gardens.

Sheils sounds as though you are enjoying yourselves.

Wingo hope you get to have your overnight stay. We've never been to South Sheilds but it sounds a great place for all the family. It makes such a difference if it's not raining.

Sylvia hope you are enjoying the rest. We enjoyed the GKs for holiday but it's a bit of a nightmare now they are back. Yes, they need to find schools. GD should start school in September in UK and GS is 7. We will see.

Went over to shop for some milk and goodness it is really hot out there. Stopped to speak to a neighbour and sun was getting me on the back of my neck. Luckily I do not normally burn but have put a cold face flannel on it to take heat away.

Afternoon, yes it is hot out there today. I have all the doors open and the fan on but still hot. I was working this morning, but relaxing now. Hope you have all had a good morning.

Good afternoon all. Been busy today. Took a tumble when out with the dogs, had one in each hand so took the fall on my elbow and leg. Fortunatelly I well on the grass so no scrapes just a bit stiff. Went into Leeds on the bus to keep moving and picked up some nice materials in the market there.

Hope you manage to sort out the schools leanfun.

Glad you are enjoying your trip to Liverpool Sheils. When is DH's birthday? Is it soon?

When are yours back at school Wingo? Hope you are enjoying your break.

Your GK's go back earlier than ours then Rose, dont think ours go back until about Sept 5th.

Looking forward to going home on Friday as there is nothing like your own bed somehow.

Hi everyone,
Have had a brilliant day apart from journey from Liverpool to Lancaster
which shouldn't have taken long. Road works and diversions everywhere and some scary driving.
At my hotel win now and lovely room with Air conditioning which is much needed! They gave me 2 free drinks vouchers as we are gold members (didn't know if I would get any as free night) Going across to Brewers Fayre as DH wants a steak and he has free meal voucher for his birthday. We are starving as haven't eaten much today. Were too mean to pay for breakfast at Liverpool so just had a muffin and then a bacon roll at Sefton Park.

GK's are back at the end of the week sylvia. They are starting to get bored now. Although once they are back they will be wishing they were on holiday again lol. They have a week off in October so I am on the lookout for a cheapish break for them.

Thanks Sylvia. Hope you are ok. We always use arnica cream or better still gel for bruises. You might find you are really stiff in the morning.

Sheils there are so many road works everywhere. You'd think there would be less holiday time.

Hot here too.had some great strawberries earlier. DD1 took all GKs here out so we have had a quiet afternoon.
