Indie great to hear you will have no more long days. They must have been very tiring. Do hope you enjoy your free time.

It was hot here too yesterday. Only took GKs to park late afternoon and it was still hot. DD1 and family are back from a good break on Isle of White. It makes such a difference when it's good weather.

Alfie your garden must be looking wonderful after all your work out there.

Hope everyone has a great and luck week.

    Phew! Another warm day here

    smileys-sunbathing-774118.gif

so may just stay in the cool! :p

I've still got clearing out to do in shed/garage so might
tackle that first for a bit then find a nice shady spot in
    the garden to relax. :D

    emotplus6.gif

Working half days now sounds brill indie. As you say ....
    more 'me' time. :T

Know what you mean re the decent weather leanfun - so
pleased your DD1 and family enjoyed their break on the
    Isle of Wight.

Last week was Cowes week there - always very popular
and The Red Arrows flew over my abode! :j

I would like to think it was a personal flypast for me :p
but alas they were putting on a brilliant display for Cowes! :T

Always love seeing them though! :T:T:T

Hope you're all ok - have a lovely and lucky Monday
and I'll catch up later. :)

Good morning all, wonderful sunny day here and really hot. Think we will be sitting in the garden today with out triominose and a bottle of NB

Enjoy your shorter days Indie and rest up a bit.

Don't do too much in the garden in this heat firefly and Alfie.

I bet you are enjoying the GK's leanfun. Will they have to start a new school near you now or aren't they old enough yet?

Enjoy your day everyone and lots of luck.
BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS

Hope you enjoyed your day with GK's leanfun :) I bet the Isle Of Wight is lovely this time of year.

Enjoy your 'me' time indie :)

Hope you've had a good day in the garden and pottering about Alfie & fire*fly :)

Sounds like a good plan with a bottle of NB and relaxing Sylvia :)

Sheils, that was a great bargain with the extra night and breakfast! Is that for both of you too? Hope you're enjoying Liverpool :)

We had a good day out today at South Shields on the rides, beach, park and something to eat. There's some really nice places there, I might look at how much the caravan park costs on the seafront.

    Hi everyone,

Having a lovely time in Liverpool area. Was in Liverpool today and it was really hot. Hoping to go to Sefton Park and Speke Hall tomorrow before heading for Lancaster.

Yes wingo that is the price for both of us. Saw your lovely pics on FB.
DH wanted to go back to the Sea Hotel in South Shields for his birthday treat but can't really fit it in as so much on and we have to be back for his birthday or DD would be really upset. the Indian restaurants are great there. the Spice Garden is out of this world and so cheap too!

I've just been looking at the sea view hotel Sheils. I fancy going back for one night stay and would like to try the Indian restaurant there too as I didn't reckon much to the food in the hungry horse pub there, although the ice cream was delish!

Sounds like you've been very busy in the garden pruning etc fire**fly! We all mucked in yesterday weeding the rest of the drive and it totally knackered me! I don't know how you and Alfie manage to do it every day!
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

We always seem to pay £76.05 a night wingo which is a lot more than we normally pay but it is so handy and it does include breakfast and parking. If you do decide to go there book on their own site (Best Western) and add the breakfast as it is only about £1.40 extra at the time and over £10 each if you pay when there. Have heard people moaning about the price of breakfast when they book on other sites,
There is a Premier Inn outside the town which often has cheap rates if you book in advance although not on Saturdays.
