The Scottish school holidays start at the end of June. Our area still has another week to go before they are back.

I am just about to go out and water tubs and hanging baskets now that it has cooled down a bit. Glad we got the outside tap fitted. It is very handy for plants and car washing.

quickly in this heat lol, could do with some of this

Oh firefly you have just made me think of my hanging baskets and plants they will be so dry. Think we might have to pop back and see how its going.

hope they'll be ok sylv & it's not to far for you to go
check them,
flowers on my fuchsia's were drooping terrible even though
the baskets were still damp,
had to spray water over the tops of them to pick them up!

Phew! Phew! Phew! Yesterday was a scorcher!

Hope today is just a tad cooler - it's lovely and fresh
outside at the mo but the forecast is sunshine all day
long with a splash of rain maybe later. :j

Took refuge in the cool of the garage yesterday and
got quite a bit of clearing out done! Reached a particularly
spidery corner :eek: so decided to call it a day and start
afresh today.





So sorry to hear about your fall sylv - hope you're ok this
morning. xxx Also hope it isn't far to go back home to
check your hanging baskets.

If no one minds .... I may have to do a weeny rain
dance today to bring on a little bit of wet stuff to give the
plants a good watering. Will try to arrange it to come
through the night!

Sorry to hear that your journey wasn't nice sheils .....
bloomin' roadworks and diversions plus scary drivers -
doesn't make a good mix for a pleasant drive!

Morning peeps. Another sunny one here. Need to get hoovering etc done early as by mid- day yesterday it was just too warm. Hope you are ok sylvia after your fall. Can be a frightening and knock your confidence a bit when it happens out off the blue. Hope everyone has a lovely day.
