Good morning. After saying it looked like a storm yesterday I will reserve judgement today as it turned out to be a beautiful day yesterday. I hear storms are due at the weekend.

I expect you are glad you have not booked for any trips this weekend Sheils as think we have had the best of the weather now.

Afternoon peeps. Back home after my morning out. Still cloudy here but it is warm. Only needed cardi as have DS's car. Kids are back at school. Went to M & S got some food goodies and some school jumpers for kids for when it gets a bit cooler.

You are so good to your GK's Rose, cooking and buying things for them. We are the same we love our GK's and do what we can for them.

sylvia I just love them to bits and do what I can. Love dil like a daughter and her mum is a brilliant friend to me. I miss my son as much as they miss their dad and husband. So understand what they are going through which is probably why I spoil them a bit. Just like them to know gran is here for them. Although they do not get everything they want.

Good morning,


Sticking to my owl theme today. Loved your one yesterday Alfie.
Rain is here and set to stay, still DH finished the grass and I got all the washing dry yesterday. Guess what I will be doing today (sigh)
To be fair the soil was really dry.


Yes we are glad we haven't anything booked for this weekend Sylvia. Going to enjoy being at home for a little while and catch up with jobs we have to do.

Hope you are enjoying having a busy house leanfun. We don't have any gks so not sure how we would feel. 3 out of 4 have partners at the moment though but no-one married yet and one of them only 18. DS3 has applied for a job at a fancy golf hotel so we might have the whole house to ourselves soon (if he doesn't mess up the interview on Monday) I have lived in this house for 34 years and although we have considered moving as it is now far too big I expect we will stay for a while yet.

Morning. Woke up early again been awake ages. Just heard another plane fly over so with window open they could be what waking me up.

Cooler here Sheils not raining yet though. Good for you to be at home a bit. Do hope your DS3 is successful next week.

House full is tiring but love GKs to bits. The two of them are like ours were don't know how we managed with three and four years between them.
