Phew! It's warm here ..... it's looking to be another
beautiful day so today I'll be splitting the jobs in
two ...... gardening this morning (while it's still
coolish) and carrying on with the clearing out of
the shed/garage this afternoon.

Good Morning,


Dry here at the moment and seagulls making a dreadful racket outside. Hopefully get the washing dry today. We aren't going to get the heatwave by the looks of it. Off to Liverpool on Sunday where it will be better but not roasting.


Didn't know it was World Elephant Day today Alfie, love the pic and have sent it to DD . She will love it.
Have sent your cat one too FF as it looks so like her kitten with the lovely blue eyes. Saw him yesterday and he is really growing and will be a right handful I think! Thank you both.


Well done on cookbook FF, it is nice to make something different. :T


Wingo I went to a wedding once without a jacket at end of June and it bucketed down all day and I shivered all day! Decided never to do that again.

had her web spread right across the entrance to
the bin area,
think she was laying in wait for me :rotfl:

It's funny you should mention wee beasties fire**fly!

In the shed yesterday was the biggest wee beastie
I ever did see! :eek::eek:

She was humungous - and literally positioned just above
me watching my every move with 8 beady eyes! :eek:



Been in and out of shed this morning to get tools for
gardening and ..... no sign of her anywhere - which to
my mind is even more worrying! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Just popped back in for bite to eat then off to sort out
rubbish but maybe just the garage this afternoon - just
in case said beastie is laying in wait in the shed! :eek:

It's really warm here now, with not a cloud in the
sky



so thankfully garage stays nice n' cool for working -
got plenty to do in there to keep me occupied. Also got
to catch up on comps too so may do that now.

Evening, had a long day today at work so glad to get home. Just having a glass of wine as i think i earnt it..lol. It's been a lovely day here, not that i have been out in it but just watered the plants as they were dry. Had a win in the post family ticket to Beaulieu, so my neice will be happy as it's for 2 adults and 3 kids and she has wanted to go in the holiday but couldn't afford it. So now she can go.I also missed 2 parcels so will have to get them redelivered but i am waiting on 3 things so it's probably them.Hope you all had a good day...time for comping and relaxing now.

Hi everyone, sorry been busy today with one thing and another. Now safely installed at OH's DD's so now have an extra 2 dogs and 2 guinea pigs to look after for the week.
