Hi everyone. We have been very busy lately. Lots happening family wise and with friends.

Hope to catch up soon. Only read this page and seems Sheils congrats are in order for your daughter. So pleased for her.

Thanks everyone. Won't see DD as she is working all day but she is coming up tomorrow. She is so relieved all her plans are going ahead now.
We are home now and it is raining. DH and I both got a bit burnt in Blackpool, infact DH had some blisters. We should know better but sitting in the sun watching the planes we realised we had rushed out without putting sun cream on.
No wins to report I'm afraid but my Holiday Inn reward points mounting up as quickly as we spend them so can keep up the breaks! Will need to pay for another night somewhere to generate a huge bonus before the end of the month.

I feel like I'm the only one that loves the dreaded C-word... although I admit it can be a bit stressful. Going to have to work on it early this year.

So I chased up my win again today, having still not heard a squeak. Got to speak to someone in person about it this time and they were lovely... it's not their area, but they're chasing it up for me and have advised me to call them again at the end of the week if I've still had no word. I feel a lot more settled.

Evening peeps. Had GK's all afternoon. So did some comping and cooking with them. They have gone home with the lasagne they made. They were so chuffed with themselves. I was in control of the cooker but they did the chopping of ingredients and layering. So may get some comping done tonight. I am out in the morning so will not get any done then. Hope everyone is well..

When we went to the Air Show at Weston-Super-Mare a couple of years ago, I didn't think of sun cream and sat on the beach wall for 12 hours... only moving to go to the burger van/beer tent/facilities and when the parachutist went a bit wrong and landed in the burger van.. (had to move for his team mates who were going to jump over where we were sat to get to his aid!). Needless to say, I was very burnt by the end of the day, by the time I noticed it was too late!

And as I found on another airshow, despite wearing a hat.. don't forget to put suncream on your ears!!!!!!!!!!!
