I remember the kids being asked in the street if they wanted a lolly when we were in Tenerife once when woman was clearing out her freezer in apartments and it did seem a bit iffy!
I knew it was the same day we met up. Don't you remember my DH saying "same time next year then" when we said goodbye?
Haven't managed back yet. Hotel we use hasn't had many offers on and not that many in area really. The other one we tried was ok but food wasn't. Whitby hotels don't seem to have parking nor the Holiday Inn Express in your town centre.
It must be supply and demand for your holiday. They must have lots of seats left and trying to sell them. Neighbours daughter's Turkey flights were moved to another airport for October so she was able to cancel and booked Portugal instead.
Yes off to Blackpool today - winds forecast for 6pm now so hopefully airshow won't be affected. Red Arrows on at 4pm I think which is the one we really enjoy. Show on tomorrow too but Red Arrows just on today.

I would have been the same as fire**fly, having a
look around to see where the TV cameras were!

I didn't get to do the shed in the end - by the time I
went out, there was a lovely fresh breeze so ..... did
gardening instead! :whistle:

Did quite well in the end .... tackled more bamboo
pruning and a few other bits n' pieces. The cleaning out
of the shed can wait for another day!

Good afternoon all, beautiful day here again. Going over to Leeds later to DH's DD1's for BBQ. They are going to the Dogs Trust open day so we are joining them for tea later.
