Good Morning,
That sounds a great win indie - well done. I thought it might be a good one with Vouchercloud. Sorry you didn't sleep well though. I hate it when that happens.
Sun shining away here again, think we have been getting some of the best weather but rain due this afternoon. Will have to finish weeding the front borders, got two thirds done yesterday DH cut the front lawn but is going to cut the back lawn this morning. Hope your plants enjoyed the rain Alfie! Actually I thought the soil felt really dry when I was weeding yesterday so maybe we need it too.
Meant to say you both found great pics yesterday FF & Alfie.
Must get some comps done.

Hi Charley, the time will soon come in. Weddings seem to have to be planned so far in advance now. DD was just talking about them yesterday saying her bosses' daughter got married and it cost them £25K!!!!! A friend of hers did hers for about £4K and she said she enjoyed it more. Hopefully DD not thinking of getting married for a while and as her dad said if it cost £25k she would be paying for it herself.
Wow, that's so much money! I can easily see how it could all add up though, if you don't shop around the prices of even small things are crazy! We're doing most things ourselves so we're definitely watching the cost, my parents have kindly bought my dress and my OH's parents are paying for the flowers, otherwise we're paying for everything. We planned around £8000 for everything including a 2 week honeymoon to Finland (we haven't been on holiday for a long time, so we're taking advantage of the opportunity to do a big get away). Hopefully this will leave wiggle room and some money to spare, we already have that amount saved but it took me long enough to stomach an £8000 price tag :rotfl: The big things are already booked so realistically we should be able to save some pennies by making as much as we can ourselves and making use of very talented photographer and DJ friends. Hopefully winning some nice wedding competitions will help too, fingers crossed :T0 -

Good luck with winning some nice wedding comps. I know someone on here won her wedding dress. I saw her wedding photos and it was lovely.
I have been married twice as I was widowed young. First wedding was fairly cheap as local hotel was reasonable and we knew band members. My dress and bridesmaid dresses in sale. Cake made by local bakers as present for us. Photographer worked with my dad so discounted too. Only had 2 nights in Blackpool as honeymoon though!
Second wedding was in Las Vegas and just cost us the licence money and money for minister at "Little White Chapel" Toured around West Coast of US for honeymoon with my 2 sons though so not cheap option although brilliant adventure.
Finland sounds lovely.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

:hello: Hi everyone! Hope you're all ok.
Well - we ended up having rain all through the night
so the garden has very definitely had a good soaking!
As you say fire**fly - the rain certainly does look
after the plants! :T :j
Wandered out in my wellies this morning when the
rain had eased offand did notice an abundance of
little froggies - it must have been the lush damp
conditions they were attracted to. The little blighters
can certainly jump too! I've never seen so many!
Love your pic this morning sheils. :T Did you finish
weeding the front borders in the end?
:T :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Had a wonderful time Inkling ...... went out with
friends to a very picturesque village - enjoyed a
scrumptious pub lunch and participated in a wine
spritzer or two. The weather was
glorious too which made the day even nicer! :T
Wow indie - that's a fab prize! :T As sheils says -
Vouchercloud prizes are always good.
C0nfused - you did so well sorting out all your
wedding arrangements. :j You will get there too
Charley .... love the sound of Finland for a
honeymoon. Fingers 'n paws crossed for you to win
some lovely wedding comps to give you a little
helping hand! :j
Hellooee to everyone else .... hope you all have a
lovely and lucky rest of the day. Take care - I'll
catch up later.

Hi everyone, just a quick pop in. Been poorly all weekend and still the same now, think it must be flu or something. Can barely see through my eyes and nose absolutely streaming, headache and aching everywhere. Hopefully will begin to feel better soon.
Well done on any wins.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
Goodness big ((((((((hugs)))))) sylvia take care. Summer cold/flu is horrible. Was delivered a load of coffee so sis will be happy. It is all she drinks (apart from wine lol) Her coffee machine will be happy and so will she. Ground coffee she buys as beans seem to cost a lot nowadays. Read back now well done to all those who have won yaaaaaaaaaay.0

Don't know where you find all the great pics Alfie & FF! They keep us all smiling anyway, thank you.
Everyone seems to be having a busy time,
Alfie I did finish the weeding at the front! Will need to go over them again but pleased to get the worst done. You should have seen the ferns and brambles I took out from round the back the other day - have the scratches to prove it!
Hope you feel better soon Sylvia, xMar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
