Alfie I tried sending you our rain and it has gone (sun peeping out) but don't know if it is on its way to you! Just hope it hasn't headed to April instead.
Thank you all for your kind words - things do often feel worse at night. Feeling a bit better today, but still not great. No rain here at the mo sheils (makes a change!) but it's still not that summery. I think I've given up on summer now!
Arrgh, hope you get that prize sorted Inkling - I'm sure it will all come good in the end.
Can't believe we're almost at the end of July already!!0 -
Good afternoon all, sorry didnt get it yesterday. It was the youngest DD's birthday (34) and she came over to take us to Whitby for the day. We had a lovely time but it rained the whole time sadly, Lottie was like a drowned rat by the time we got back to the car and was not happy at all.
Sorry you are feeling down at the moment AprilLady and hope things feel better for you soon, big hugs.
Sounds like the rain is pretty general at the moment, we dont seem to have had much of a Summer really this year at all.
Have a lovely day everyone.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
Just been out a walk and it is really hot here! The town is mobbed with tourists with loads of things on - art trail, mini Kelpies have arrived for a month (10th the size of the real ones) and there seemed to be some sort of market on too.
Shame it rained for your day out Sylvia, think it was wet everywhere yesterday. Whitby is a bit bleak in the rain. Any word on your car?Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Going to be another nice day here although it does say a chance of showers.
Got all my washing and ironing done yesterday! DH wanting to tackle another large shrub in the garden later though and the borders need serious weeding so won't be lazing about.
Hope everyone has a lovely day.

Hope everyone has had a lovely day. DH made us a lovely roast pork meal and we had a tin of tapioca pudding for afters. Hadn't had tapioca for years and years!
Don't know if anyone in here ever watched the series "Still Game"
DS3 was speaking to a woman at his hotel (while in his Chef's whites) and she was saying how much she had enjoyed the meals while staying there. He had the feeling he knew her and asked the receptionist who she was. Turns out she was the actress who plays Isa in "Still Game" one of DS3's favourite TV programmes of all times! She did play a part of about 25 years older than she was so he does have an excuse for not recognising her. He is so annoyed he didn't get her autograph or a selfie with her!Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
