I can't believe it's August already, now it's less than a year until I get married :eek:0

Looking OK here and should really do more in the garden (sigh)
At the moment I am making plans for our Weymouth holiday which isn't until 24th Sept. So many things we want to do there and will have stop overs to organise too.
Hi Charley, the time will soon come in. Weddings seem to have to be planned so far in advance now. DD was just talking about them yesterday saying her bosses' daughter got married and it cost them £25K!!!!! A friend of hers did hers for about £4K and she said she enjoyed it more. Hopefully DD not thinking of getting married for a while and as her dad said if it cost £25k she would be paying for it herself.
Hope everyone has a lucky day and August.

Afternoon, it's a wet one here today. Been threatning rain all morning but i managed to get some washing dry before it came down. I have my sons girlfriend here for a couple of days and she has been sorting my pc out for me, i couldn't change the home page but she did it and a few other things that needed doing.I have just dropped them into town as neither drive and the next bus is an hour away.
I have had a good start to August 2 wins one on Twitter a bucketful of tobasco sauce, lots of little bottles. luckily my son loves it so he is a happy bunny. Also had a win on Vouchercloud Competition with Currys.
They didn't say what it was so will go a hunting in a minute...lol0 -

:hello: Good afternoon everyone and happy August!
Just back home after a wonderful day out - and it's
actually raining now! :j Yay, no watering of the plants
today!
Happy days!
Very well done on all your wins indie! What a lovely
start to the month! :j:T
Re the tapioca.... to be honest I used to think it
was yuk!:eek: The school cooks used to make it for
us as a pudding and yep sylv - we also used to call it frog
spawn!:rotfl::rotfl:
April .... don't think I would like lemon and chilli
cassava chips either! At the mo I have a thing for Mini
Cheddars :drool: - can't get enough of them!
Crikes sheils .... £25K is an awful lot to spend on a
wedding! I agree with your DD about the wedding that cost
£4K being more enjoyable. Love your DHs thoughts on
the subject of expensive weddings!:rotfl::rotfl:
Charley - your wedding day will be here before you know
it .... the time will just whiz by!
Have a lovely and lucky month all, take care and I'll
catch up later.

Wow congrats on the wins Indie!
It always seems so exciting comping at the start of the month, knowing so many dates have just passed!

Not that I'm planning to get married again (my husband would have something to say about it if I was...) but.. I cannot think how it is possible to spend that much on a wedding.. I couldn't justify it... Although saying that, we didn't have to pay for the church choir, bell ringers, much for the service itself, the flowers in the church.. I didn't bother getting a posh car to take me to the church (in fact as it turned out I didn't arrange for ANY car to take me to the church, which led to one of the guest's husbands having to take me at the last minute)... We bought cameras and a friend did the photography for us rather than paying for a photographer (but it then meant that we had to decide which photos to get printed.. so we printed them all hahahaha!)..June 2016 Wins: £64 Argos Voucher :j July 2016 Wins: £25 Cash :j0

Morning, didn't sleep very well last night so will have to try and have a nap later.It has rained all night here and been heavy at times.
I think it's a £400 camera bundle i won sheils, i checked around the site last night and found one post for it,but can't find it now but i did write the posters name down so i could thank them..lol. (i know what i'm like for finding posts then losing them) Looking forward to it arriving.
wow 25 grand on a wedding that's scary, i would rather spend the money on a deposit for a home. I know i wouldn't pay that for a daughters wedding.
Hope your weather is better than mine here and you all have a lucky day.0
