:hello: Good morning everyone!
It's quite a decent weather day here though very
muggy!
Sun is shining away so hoping it will stay for
a while cos I've got plenty to do out in the garden
later on today!lomaxsylvia wrote: »Hi everyone, just a quick pop in. Been poorly all weekend and still the same now, think it must be flu or something. Can barely see through my eyes and nose absolutely streaming, headache and aching everywhere. Hopefully will begin to feel better soon.
Well done on any wins.
So very sorry to hear that you have been poorly with
flu sylv, though very pleased you felt a little better
yesterday. Take care and stay warm. Sending big

It is all she drinks (apart from wine lol) Her coffee machine will be happy and so will she. Ground coffee she buys as beans seem to cost a lot nowadays. Good luck with winning some nice wedding comps. I know someone on here won her wedding dress. I saw her wedding photos and it was lovely.
I have been married twice as I was widowed young. First wedding was fairly cheap as local hotel was reasonable and we knew band members. My dress and bridesmaid dresses in sale. Cake made by local bakers as present for us. Photographer worked with my dad so discounted too. Only had 2 nights in Blackpool as honeymoon though!
Second wedding was in Las Vegas and just cost us the licence money and money for minister at "Little White Chapel" Toured around West Coast of US for honeymoon with my 2 sons though so not cheap option although brilliant adventure.
Finland sounds lovely.
One of my friends recently got married in Vegas, her photos were brilliant! I looked like a really fun way to tie the knot. My parents also did their honeymoon in Blackpool but just overnight because I was a baby and my brother was in a terrible toddler stage. It's one of my favourite places to visit, I grew up not far away from thereCharley .... love the sound of Finland for a
honeymoon. Fingers 'n paws crossed for you to win
some lovely wedding comps to give you a little
helping hand! :j
Thankyou so much! I've wanted to visit Finland since I was a teenager but it's so expensive to get there. At least it will be a holiday to remember and definitely worth the cost!0 -
Evening everyone:wave:
Well done on the coffee win Rose and well done on the DVD fire**fly :j I started watching that In The Club and it looked good
Sylvia, I hope you feel better soon xx take care xx
Finland looks a lovely place Charley, good choice!

Is DD still going strong with her BF Sheils? My youngest DD keeps saying she can't wait to get married!Hopefully she will change her mind by the time she's old enough!
Hope you're feeling better leanfun xx
Indie, good luck with win, hope it was the camera set
I saw your posts on Tapioca pudding....yuk! _pale_ The kids in our school have it and it looks like a load of fish eggs stuck to the floor!
Nothing much happening here. Kids have been to cinemas and DH just falling asleep as usual on sofa!I've set up PC in dining room now so might try entering comps on it later as I'm not winning anything using iPad!
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
Hi wingo - yeah DD has moved in with her BF. He has his own house and it is handy for her work. He is really nice and TBH it is nice to know she is with him when we go away. They have got a little ginger kitten now (called Angus!) Not sure what will happen when she has Uni as she will have to go to various hospital placements. They are really happy anyway so we will see.
Can't believe how wet and miserable it has been here today. Feeling cold now too. Hope it will be better by Sunday as we are going to Blackpool Airshow.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Is it a Uni near you she is going? I was quite lucky when doing nursing first as I got placements close by but when I had to give it up my next placement was Northallerton so wouldn't have known how to get there! I would love to go back into nursing studies but I can barely remember anything from last week nowadays let alone study!
Sounds like your DD's BF is a keeper! Have a good time in BlackpoolBig thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -

Yes she will start at Uni 30 miles away (as long as she gets the rest of grades she needs on Tuesday) She is learning to drive and is insured on her bf's car at the moment. Sitting her theory this morning so fingers crossed. They do basic nursing to start with before doing the mental health part.
DD says bf is too good to loseHe has his work cut out to keep her though as she attracts a lot of male attention!
Shame you can't get back into nursing.
Looking forward to Blackpool -Air show on and staying near the zoo so meaning to go there too with Tesco Vouchers.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
