Just had a phone call from DIL DS's boat (sub) is coming back in. Do not know what has happened but I am on standby to pick him up as I have his car. So once I get the call they are in will have to go and pick him up. Good for kids though as they hate when he goes. Just as well it is not the families of another boat that hit a tanker and at present the crew are all in Gibralter enjoying the sunshine. But as yet not home as far as I know. So no gin and tonic or wine for me lol.

ff have no clue to when they will be in. Could be tonight. Middle of the night or over next day or two. With surface ships they tell you. With boats (subs) they do not. Submariners do not get the same wellcome as surface ships. Yaaaaay for cake win.:j:j:T
