Also meant to say - did anyone see Lady Louise Windsor doing the walkabout? I felt so sorry for her! Surely Edward or Sophie could've stayed next to her to chat to everyone? She looked so lost!

    Hello everyone!

AprilLady ((hugs)) I hate finding out things on Facebook from people who I would usually expect to tell me personally. Or in the newspaper. I found out that a friend of my hubby's had died, three months after it happened! I was not amused.

Our weekend plans went wrong, you know when you make plans, change your mind and then regret not doing the original plan.. well that was us at the weekend.

On the plus side, the dog approves of our artificial grass! He just rolls around and crawls on it! Happy days!

    No wins yet..

That's good to know that your dogs ok with the artificial grass C0nfused :) I've been asking DH to get it for a while now but he seems to think the dog will chew it up. Will have to twist his arm a bit more now!

I've just had a lovely bath with a bath bomb that DD bought me so I'm a bit sparkly now!
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

What type of dog do you have? We have a staffie cross who likes to dig! He had trashed the lawn (which was in a bad state anyway) it was half grass/half mud and where there was mud.. he could dig! He was actually trying to tunnel next door so that was why we got it done, its only a small area so it wasn't too expensive. But in the long run its low maintainance and it looks great all year round! I was worried how Norman (the dog) would react but all was well.. check out Norman's Adventures on facebook, I'll put the video of him up..

    :hello: Good morning everyone!

Hope you're all ok on this glorious weather Tuesday (at

    gardening ....

    jardinage0.gif

keeping paws crossed that it doesn't rain ....
but it's going to be one of those weather months me

Lol at your dog trying to tunnel next door C0nfused!

It's a wonderful idea to use artificial grass, particularly
in a small area - instant neatness!

I'm happy to report the prom dress came and it was the exact fit, style and colour! :j DH was winding me up at first when he met me from work saying the dress was to big, wrong colour etc! He told me the truth when he saw me getting upset! :D It was a risk that paid off getting it made from an online store, they were £500 in the bridal stores. :)

Naughty DH wingo :naughty: ... winding you up re the
    dress! :D

Brilliant news that it arrived the exact fit, style and
colour! :T Happy days! :j Bet your DD will look absolutely
stunning! They are sooo expensive in the bridal stores
so well done to you ordering the dress on line. :T

I agree with you April - felt really sorry for the girl - she
looked so awkward too. It would have been better if, as you
say, Edward or Sophie had stayed by her side to boost
    her confidence!

Have a lovely 'n lucky day all, take care - I'll catch up
    with you later. :)

    Morning All
Hope you all had a good weekend. I was working over the weekend then went in yesterday morning as they were short staffed. It's been raining the last couple of days but seemed to have stopped at the moment.Don't think we have seen the last of it today but it's given me time to pop out and check the plants.I'm off to the local shops in a while. Need some fridge food. Hope you all have a lucky day.

Morning everyone, another showery day here but it's not too cold.

Wingo delighted to hear your news about the dress. It's brilliant that is exactly right you must be so pleased after all the effort. Hope your DD has a great time.

We had an enjoyable evening last night. The singer was Samantha Bart, years ago she was a finalist in Andrew Loyd Webber's search for a Nancy. Since then she has been in a number of musicals and les Mis film. Her singing was brilliant and have to say she sang a wide range of different songs. To my surprise we had best seats row E right in the middle in the stalls. All great for a £1 each admin fee.

April I too joined a while ago and not had many offers.

Well recently I discovered a few things that you will all know already. First when there was a dupe on main board Firefly always seemed to have a hotline to a board guide. Well I have learnt to open my eyes and read and discovered Board Guides are listed at bottom of main board lo!

Second thing is about CTWs reading through some of the questions newbies ask someone kindly posted how you find a list of all the sites a prize is posted on and then they entered only the prizes they wanted to win.

On CTWs Near the end date it says Official Rules, it doesn't look like a link but it is.

Some of the Prizes have reams of links to sites others not so many and a very few have only one or two links. There appears to be no reason for the number of links e.g. a DVD can have loads of entries but another prize might have a high monetary value and only have one or two entires.

Last year on CTW I won two prizes from only one entry each and Two prizes from many entries. I have decided that if I really want something and the list of entries is less than fifteen I will go through and do all the entries. If it's something I'd like to win but reams of entries I'll do the odd entry.

I am on iPad I don't know why but instead of bookmarking the links I have put one link to each prize in an email this is in an app. I then go into the link, click on Official rules and enter via each link. It might be my imagination but it all seems much quicker.

Well we will see if I win anything doing this. I have had no CTW since this time last year when I had the big win with Festival tickets and Satchel voucher.

Sylvia I was wondering if you and your othe half do something like this. Sylvia do hope your shower was fixed and things are coming together for you both in flat.

    Good luck everyone.
  • Samantha Bark is amazing, loved her in "I'd Do Anything" but in Les Miserables she was incredible!!
