Morning peeps a bit dull and grey here this morning. Hopefully it will brighten up later. GS wants to come to cemetry with me later. As he never met my mum and sis have said yes he can come. They have to be exposed to reality at sometime and DS loved my mum (his gran) to bits. She loved him to bits as well.

Morning everyone! A bit cooler today and looks like we'll be having more rain up in Leeds. Going to be meeting up with a friend today and having a good old catch up. Then I'll probably be doing some pottering around at home and then practising my German and Urdu. I try and aim for an hour on each a day although it comes to about half an hour each usually.

God morning all hope you are ok today. We have had lots of rain yesterday and overnight.
OH's DD2 went to the Download fest yesterday and got soaked but had a really good time.

Well done on your win Sheils, just a nice size to take away with you. Glad your DD is having a good holiday. Hope you manage to get your washing dry before setting off again.

How annoying - a parcel arrived for me 5 minutes after I left for work, and the first day it can be redelivered is Wednesday! I've been in at the time the post comes all week, why did it have to come today?!

:hello: Good afternoon everyone!

Hope you're all ok and enjoying this glorious Sunday.

I'm a happy bunny cos we had rain in the early hours
so yippee - air is fresher, garden has been watered and
birdies are loving it - they're all having a scrumptious
feast of worms etc and chirping away!

It's beautiful here now.



I'm watching The Patron's Lunch at the mo, it's so
interesting - Trooping the Colour was excellent too
yesterday. :T

Had a very busy day so far - bit of multi-tasking going
on!

Had to turf puddy cat off my bed three times this
morning while I changed the sheets and 'tried' to
remake it with fresh ones ..... think she thought I
was doing it just for her. :eek:

She kept jumping back on and even settled down to
wash herself .... had to close my bedroom door briefly
in the end so I could finish the job in hand.

No prizes for guessing where she is now! :whistle:

Sounds like you are having a good time Alfie.
We were walking along the Lancaster Canal - gradually walking it all!
At Leigh now and heading to Wales tomorrow where I won't have the internet again. Off to explore now. Last time we were here we just went to the little lake as it was so sunny. Cloudy here now and has been a bit wet.
