I keep my chequebook in my handbag. I suppose for a chap that could be awkward, but you could take a deposit slip from your chequebook and keep it in your wallet...“And all shall be well. And all shall be well. And all manner of things shall be exceeding well.”

You could, but lots of people don't use cheques anymore.0 -
Exactly why I suggested taking only a deposit slip! The chequebook can be left at home.“And all shall be well. And all shall be well. And all manner of things shall be exceeding well.”

Memorise four digits and write the other four on the signature slip.
It'll confuse card thief a into thinking it's your pin and block the card when they keep trying it.0 -

All this talk of memorising your account details, carrying deposit slips around with you, or writing down your account details in weird and wonderful ways. It would be easier to change your account to a bank which shows the details on your debit card.0

I didn't start out with the intention of memorising it , it just happened. For the same reason that I can remember every telephone number, be it the first phone my parents had in the 60s to my current 2 mobiles. It just happens. Use it a few times and Robert is your parent's brother - its gone in and stuckThis is a system account and does not represent a real person.
