Only stock up on things you can't eat or drink .... otherwise you'll just plough your way through the whole lot at a rate of knots.

I used to buy multipacks of 24 cans of drink - and I'd find I was drinking 3-5/day because I could. Now I buy 3 at a time and they last a week.

Hi, I just bought the Adnams Gin and OMG! I don't think I have ever had a Gin that is this fragrant and tasty. Bombay Sapphire got nothing on Adnams. Thank You Slinky!

mine is sitting on the counter waiting for us to finish the Bombay sapphire - it would be too decadent to have 2 bottles on the go at once!

I do most of my food shopping weekly in aldi so don't feel the need to bulk buy and we use their toilet rolls £1.99 for 9, but my DS uses almond milk (which he pays for as he's working) and to save him some money I usually check online to find out where it is on offer and bulk buy - sainsbobs have it on offer for £1 each at the moment instead of £1.60 each. I bought 20 the other day saving £12 on normal costs and I might go back and get another 20 before the end of the week. Its UHT so it has a long shelf life and doesn't need to be stored in the fridge and he uses 1 carton a day.

The only other things I tend to stock up on are Morrisons own brand cheap hairspray and hair mousse for me as I don't go there very often, toothpaste from £ shop when I'm in town- we have the pump dispenser one - and DS uses wella shockwaves mess constructor for his hair so I will pick those up a couple at a time for him when on offer.

Yet I have 24 cans of Diet Coke bought back in January and I've drunk maybe 5-6 in two months. I normally have squash most of the time, the cans are just as mixers with SoCo :)
