  • Or you could pay £7.50 for 512mb, 250 mins, 5,000 texts, a free dual sim basic Nokia and get it all for nothing after cashback - with prices not increasing. Unlocking thew existing phone would be a minor inconvenience.

I wouldn't turn down the offer of £5 for 500Mb.

500Mb is quite alot unless you are a big user or watch video's when out.
And it's 4G data if you have a modern phone.
The only down side is that the price could shoot up in a year, where as life should remain a sensible price.

Andy, you have put the cat amongst the pigeons because:-

I am not a big user and don't sit on bus or walk about constantly checking as I'm an oldie.

I do have an unused 4g phone http://www.uswitch.com/mobiles/news/2015/07/ee-rook-49-4g-smartphone-revealed/

But if the price does go up in a year, it is a years contract so could leave.

Plus, because it remains with EE, it's just a free phonecall to change from what I have now to their offer. ugh! must think.

Signed up on Monday, sim arrived tue/wed and put in phone. I was confused because they had assigned me a different number, so daren't use the phone. I had given them my pac number but because my phone was locked to EE, was half afraid it would not work, so they stalled porting the number over.

Today I had a text asking if I was enjoying using LIFE, so I phoned them to ask how could I enjoy them if the number hasn't been ported yet. But, I CAN use it to phone/text, it will just show the LIFE number which no-one will recognise. Tried it and they're right.

    Yes ,they answered quickly
