and they are not "fines" either , you really need to get up to speed on this technical jargon, so you can advise your mum and help her defend the claim against her (not against you as you are nowt to do with it)

your mum is the registered keeper (not registered driver)

your mum received 5 parking charge notices (invoices)

your mum is named on the court papers

your mum defends herself using the advice supplied above

notice a common theme here ??? ( ie:- your mum , not YOU)

The court letter is not in my name.. does that make a difference ?

It is in my mothers name she is the named driver thats all..

If both these statements are correct (please advise us), then your mother is the defendant. So she should be corresponding to the court.

What is the relevance of your blue badge (Were you using the car each time the tickets were issued?)

She will be responding to them just to explain.. My mothers english isnt the best only reason im writing but she will be the one to defend it! The blue badge is in the registers owners name.. and another drive was using it when tickets were issued..

    Still confusing us:

There is no such thing as "registered owner", Assuming you mean registered keeper (rk), then is your mother the rk?

You said the blue badge was yours previously. Now you say it is the "owners". Again, do you mean the registered keepers?

And now you say the blue badge was being used by another driver? Was it being used "illegally" by another driver?

If the other driver is disabled, please clarify all this (having a blue badge is irrelevant, though the car being drive by or with a disabled person in it as a passenger can be useful for the defence. (see #9)

THE REGISTERED KEEPER and the BLUE BADGE is again the REGISTERED KEEPER! (mother)
The blue badge was not used by anyone illegally just wondering if it could be used to benefit the case at all!
The claim form and blue badge have the same name on it if thats what your asking!

I really do applogise for confusing you guys<3
