Moving on from not being able to thank people forever, I now can't edit or quote as my phone just thanks people.

But I still can't thank people easily. Only when
I want to quote them, not thank them. If I want to quote and thank, I end up with neither.

And you are now subject to all my typos because I type too fast.

It's 2017. It worked perfectly well for years, why not now?

    That's due to the pregnancy.

and that's due to an excess of pasta :rotfl:

Well when I say lots, it was once or twice a week as I was going to Weightwatchers at the time and they had their recipes...so once or twice but in much smaller portions that would normally be had.

I'm the same with toast, the smell of slightly overdone toast never worried me before I became pregnant with James but as soon as I was, it had me heaving everywhere and even to this day, the smell of overdone toast has me running to throw up.

I was an all day feeling sick but rarely being sick pregnant person with James and Josh but an all day feeling sick and being sick pregnant person with Joe..blooming nightmare that was with two other children under the age of 5, absolutely nothing would stay down and I eventually ended up on a drip.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

You can get both of these in Sainsbury's.

I quite like them. They swell up a bit more when cooked, and the texture is not unlike that of spaghetti, and the flavour is very subtle and pleasant.

Ingredients are only the beans and water. Not a molecule of gluten.

Gluten free pasta is okay. Be careful not send it soggy.

The more I think about this, the less good idea lasagne becomes.

How about a cottage pie. No gluten, no dairy!

I made a lasagne with courgette and butternut squash instead of pasta on Sunday. Very nice it was too.
If you can obtain courgettes that is!

Any websites that tell you where you should live based on commuting distances? Added complication that one person is commuting by car and the other by public transport.

Meeting a friend for lunch, will catch up after :)

Speaking of pasta, there was a lovely looking recipe popped up on my Facebook feed this morning, have saved it and will post when I get onto a computer, which will probably be once I've finished doing a ,assive pile of work that's built up.

I'm another one that likes pasta and isn't bothered by the shape of it. I don't much like courgettes, though.

Went away for the weekend last weekend. I've now been trained to be a "befriender" with these people:
    https://www.careforthefamily.org.uk/family-life/bereavement-support/widowed-young-support

We had a joint training weekend with their other "specialist support networks" - so there was a group there like me who've been widowed while under 50 or still with dependent children, a group of people who'd lost a child (of any age) and a group of parents of children with additional needs (of any kind). It was great to be together with the other groups for some of the time and just with the other widow(er)s for some of the time too. I made some great new friends, and I'm looking forward to being able to be there for some people who need it. :)
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.
