I'd not be a Guide.... there are far too many stroppy people on these boards for that.... you'd end up getting irate inbox messages from angry people.

    Not for me....

I'm using chrome. I can see it. I have the old style green version rather than the new blue and white one.

You can get to your display settings by going to "Quick links" (just below "User tools" at the top of the page) and selecting "Edit options".

I have my forum skin set to "New masthead, stretchy" and all three boxes ticked in "Visible post elements".
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Perhaps SC could now merge all the Brexit threads which would leave just two, Brexit and us.....
    I think....

Gosh, never seen one of them!

Only way I know people are board guides is in their signatures.

I'm still using the old style green too. Got all three boxes ticked in "Visible post elements" too.

Still can't see it. Oh well, not the end of the world! :D

Have you got "forum skin" set to "old look, new masthead"? That makes badges disappear for me. Try "new masthead, stretchy" for a green version that includes badges (at least it does for me) and let us know what happens.

    Thanks all.

I need to make a signature.

I did volunteer and list quite a few boards I was interested in; I expected to be given 2 or 3, but was given 6! I think the plan is to have more Board Guides and have 2 or 3 active people on each Board.

I have the old skin with chrome and I can see everything I should. Even the Board guide bits and bobs work with the old skin, so doubt us luddites are missing out on anything.

I wouldn't know even from that - I have my settings to not show signatures due to some people using huge graphics or long personal statements, cluttering up what I really wish to read ;)
