Frosty here too. I had to clear frost from my windscreen before driving to work - not unusual - but I had to clear more frost my windscreen in the work car park at 5pm before driving home. I don't remember having to do that before, although I'm sure there have been plenty of occasions when it's been below freezing all day while I've been at work. I wonder what caused it?PasturesNew wrote: »I banged my elbow in the bath, on the side handle. It bl00dy hurts.... feels like the sort of thing that'll give me a twinge for 2-3 days.
How annoying.
Ouch! Hope it feels better soon. I agree with Pyxis it would be best to get it checked out if it's not better in a few days.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
Personally, I think it sends the ThrowUp-o-Meter into overdrive :rotfl:
The thing that puzzles me is the face of the woman. She looks much too old to be a debutante - I thought they were meant to be young???mystic_trev wrote: »Just popping in to wish a belated Happy New Year to all NP. I'm hoping to be around a bit more this Year.:o

High humidity means plenty of water to condense then freeze.0 -

Not those who've been on the shelf for more than a few seasons
One's only got to pass the champers the wrong way and one's doomed - apparently.

I had to go out this morning.
Last night I put the screen protectors on the front and rear screens to,save having scrape the frost off.
That worked well.
However, the condensation I keep getting on the inside had frozen too.(I just lurve spiders!)

But anyone who's been on the shelf for several seasons isn't a debutante, surely? Even if you "do the season" more than once, you're only a debutante the first time? Or is my terminology a hundred years or so out of date? It certainly used to be the way I've just put - you know, like in cricket, however many times you play for England, it's only your first match that's your debut.Do you know anyone who's bereaved?
