Once one of us has fed the dog, he will later turn his attention to the other, and lingers near the bowl, looking up hopefully. He never wastes time trying it on the person who's fed him, but he clearly hasn't twigged that humans communicate with each other and despite being absent while he was fed the missing person knows he's already had enough food.
I should have taken a photo of my car the other day. I'd parked it in a marked parking bay (I had to check when I parked as the bay was really small), and the next morning it was half-in half-out . The bay had been repainted overnight in a different position like in a Candid Camera sketch. No I did't get a ticket. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

I have visions of your dog trying to work out how to change the sign back. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Those dastardly doggies!
Dog's are normally quite honest. Just not where food is concerned.
I bought a 15kg bag of dog food as it was on special offer. That's going to last months, as Doglet gets around 100g a day. The dog doesn't seem to get bored with it though, and she gets so excited about it!No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Woke up today feeling awful, appears I have come down with some kind of chesty cold overnight, not what I wanted or needed just before Christmas. As a result, it has been a quiet day at home today not doing very much at all.
Youngest is still stressing over his uni choices, he is now thinking of withdrawing from his other choices and accepting the Lincoln unconditional as the stress is getting too much for him. To be fair, Lincoln was his first choice, the city was perfect for him, the course a perfect fit, he loved the uni and the area and the transport for him travelling alone is easy and not too expensive.
As impressed as he was by the York interview offer, the uni is really too far out of the city to be practical. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

So sorry you're not well, Sue. Hope your boys don't catch it from you. I am finally feeling almost entirely better from my laryngitis but now DS has a streaming cold that may be the same virus just affecting him differently. However, he says he is feeling a bit better than yesterday so he is hoping to be more or less all right by Christmas day.
Sounds as though Youngest has good reasons for choosing Lincoln so if rejecting the others at this stage will help him cope with life then it might be a good idea.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

All good reasons. I'm sure there will be relief all round when the decision is made.
DS2 has transformed himself in one week from a lay about to a serious worker. New work wardrobe, making food the night before to be heated at work, making sandwiches for brunch, up at unearthly hours to be groomed and at at work early. I haven't heard,or seen chewy, or spirit, for ages. I hope that all absent NP are well and enjoying the run up to Christmas, Hanukkah or just having some time off. I wish the same for present NP too. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I've not seen them around either but then I haven't been the most observant just recently.
Feeling more awful today than yesterday, got so much to do today but I fear it is all going to have to go on the back burner. I have to be ok for tomorrow, got to hit the ground running first thing in the morning! We made it!
