    It was fantastic!
    (And not a bit scary!)

So much so, that I went straight back and did it again!

Would have done it more, but it was starting to get expensive!

Worth going up there just for the view........of the whole bay complex and right out to the open sea.

Came back, had a vat of icecream, and a Turkish Bath! :D

  • I think I should have put no more bad news because being suspected of a grade one is treated like a benign type and then monitored every 6 months so she was very much brighter after the consultation.
We have a slight chill in the air this morning I think its coming from the UK but the skies are blue and the sun is out;)

Putting up the chicken wire this morning around the new fruit bed venture that was last week going to be grassed over!!!!We have some friends that breed Andalusian horses nearby with plenty of spare well- rotted manure so that is going to help the soil no end...

    Oh I'm so pleased! :) :A
    That's such a relief.

I'm having a lot of trouble with Photobucket, which is why I haven't posted any pics yet. :(
We're off to sing with a local group later. That is always such a joy, because it transcends language barriers! They teach us a simple local song and we teach them one, and have lots of laughs while we're about it! :) (Although a few poignant tears might be shed too!)

I'm pleased you enjoyed the zip line. The video scared me.

I'm on a gliding course at the moment - in between the rain showers. I find that not at all scary, despite normally absolutely hating heights. Anything more than five steps up a ladder bothers me quite a bit. Can anyone explain?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

    Brave man.

From our flat we often see people paragliding. Not all seem in control of their direction or speed!

I can't explain it but I can definitely empathise - if that's the right word.

I can stand at the top of an umpteen hundred foot cliff, look over and think "This is a nice view". More than a similar height to you up a ladder or scaffolding tower and I start to feel decidedly nervous. The only thing I can think of is that, on the ladder or tower, I know my feet aren't on the ground but I can see the ground below/between them.

Maybe having the floor of the glider under you is OK because you can't see the ground below your feet?
