Unfortunately I have to do my expenses today, which I hate with a passion, and then sort various insurance renewals, meter reads, etc, but might manage to get it all done by mid afternoon and still get outside for a bit of fresh air.
My new pet hate is invoicing clients. I find it tedious. Avoiding it doesn't work out that well.
What is it with just organising getting paid the money you're owed?Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Fat woman on telly on benefits moaning that after everything's been paid "there's only £20 each day to feed 6 people"
I'm staggered at the amount of people on benefits that think their life is harder than low-paid full-time workers!
£20's a King's ransom.
She needs to lay off the pies.0 -
Just tucked into a cheese toastie + 2 jelly sweeties.
In case anybody's keen to keep to my diet.
There'll be a chilli cooked tomorrow. Already stacked everything except the meat up on the worktop so I don't forget to put it on when I wake up.0 -

Hmm - we feed 5 for less than 400 a month....a rather tasty beef stew this evening though I say so myself. Also cut the grass today, it is that stage of the year where you start hoping each cut will be the last.
Signed up for Martin's MSE Experian credit score, apparently mine is 999 (the max) and I should get whatever credit I apply for...just got turned down for a £6 per month contract on O2 for a tablet for the kids for Christmas :rotfl:I think....0 -

Having never bought any before, I bought a pack the other week and have now had three packs. I can recommend the Blueberry ones at L*dl, tried two chocolate variations but wasn't overly enamoured.
I think they're under 70p for 4 in L*dl and they're just a nice little dessert/treat. I pull the paper case away and nuke it for 10-12 seconds so it's warm. It then goes on a plate and I eat it with a spoon. Custard is optional
Never ever ate a muffin with a utensil it's kind gone in 3 bites out my hand0 -

If it's any help, I'm the same. Detest it, always have, can put it off for weeks!0 -

Animal!
I find them too big to eat like that. With a teaspoon it takes 6-8 generous chunks. Size-for-size, a smallish muffin is larger than one of those pots that's, say, a "microwave pudding for one" where they sell at 2 for £1 or so. They're also less stodgy/dense, so a more enjoyable scoff.
One muffin is a dessert portion really.
I'm only 5'.0 -

It's not easy you know! Loving pie ... and scoffing in general. Wishing to perpetually eat pizza, crisps, sweeties .... I have to exercise severe restraint when in the presence of food for sale. Then I have to mindfully restrict my consumption.... all while fooling myself that these are my choices
It's easy to scoff, scoff, scoff.
It'd be easy to "by habit" put a 6-pack of crisps, some sweeties, other goodies in the basket each and every time I enter a shop.
It's only through self-deprivation that I stand a chance.
On balance though, I feel better to feel deprived, than to buy/eat what I want and feel chumpy.
I was always a bit chumpy - 71Kg in 2004... but I lost it then and have managed to mostly keep it off since. I weigh myself 4x a year and my top limit is 60Kg for seriously taking on board that I need to cut back again.0
