I think Maggie uses flickr which is another possibility. It's part of the yahoo system.

I like Flickr. You can set it to public or private, also Friends, Family or Friends & Family.

Joined Flickr pretty soon after it started up, and have always had a Pro subscription, not sure if that's still available now other than to those who have one already and renew every year or couple of years. I've been trying to get OH to sign up for it now he's got a decent digital camera, but he seems to have a phobia for any website where a password is needed! (Roll eyes smiley)

If all your friends and rellies joined and uploaded their photos you can form a Group where they can add their photos to the Group. That would save you having to upload everything yourself.

Photobox is good too. Again you can set to Public or Private. I can't recall if you can set up a group account, I think when DD1 got married there was a password protected account that everyone was able to upload to, but I can't remember the details. :o Advantage of Photobox is you can order prints from them. I think Flickr only does that in US.

I started to use Flickr, as private photos, as somewhere secure to save all my images. I struggled with it .... as I had a LOT. It was very slow to upload on my broadband - and I did have to set each new directory to private (pain in the butt to go through and select the options for each new directory as I was probably creating 200 albums.

I never did get round to finishing uploading as I'd set a directory to upload to a folder and it'd sometimes take an hour or so!

Wasn't too sure either how the photo tagging would work as I never got to the point where I could sort/view/go through the images to see how that worked.

Another beautiful day here. How's the weather where other NP are? Hope you're getting sunshine too. Well, if you like it, anyway. DS prefers it to be cold. Not sure how I managed to produce a son whose ideas about temperature are so different from mine!

Looks promising. Good luck with it.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

It's quite lovely here today. My favourite weather: blue skies and windy. I'm not keep on hot, still days. As long as there's blue skies and a bit of a breeze, I'm not too fussed what the temperature is providing it's not extreme.

Heirhunters today, repeat, seen it before: only child died aged just 59. Parents already dead, lived alone.

Traced his parents - father turned out to have just one valid heir, a cousin of the deceased.

The show visited the heir and he hadn't had anything to do with his father for the last 20 years, he didn't even know he was dead. His father had died in 2001.

He'll get half a house in Hemel Hempstead, valued at the time about ~£250k.

But he's said he doesn't want the money - he wants to give it all to a charity as his own daughter's got some disability or other.

Sunny here. But there's that perpetual annoying "sea breeze" which is always enough wind to blow your hair/clothes everywhere... but it's warm. Gauge says 78F.

Sunny here but no sitting out as next door are doing all manner of noisy DIY in the front garden.

Horrendous night for me, jumpy leg, couldn't sleep then tummy troubles which had me throwing up at 5 am this morning (too much wheat). All told I got about 2 and a half hours sleep and by goodness do I feel rough this morning.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

    Current investigation:

    1851 Census with sister
    Disappears ....

Finally found a body that might be his, 250 miles away, frozen to death outside a pub.

Need to investigate it further .... but it looks likely to be the fella I was looking for. My GGG-grandmother's brother.

He'd walked Dover to Folkestone as he said his wife had taken a fancy to a dog and he'd offered to get it for her; she gave him 4d .... and he'd got to Folkestone and was so cold he went into the pub for a drink (or several).

Found the next morning, lying in the road, with a bloody nose; he could speak, but couldn't be understood. They called for help but he died.

They think he fell over and was too drunk to get up, so lay where he was - it was a freezing night, so he just died.

Official verdict: Frozen to death, while intoxicated.
