Free National Trust stuff, and other old stuff, in about 2 weeks' time:

Might be some old stuff that's just where you'd always wanted to see, but didn't want to pay the entrance fees0 -
Youngest took time away from portfolio work yesterday to completely change his room around, dismantling a unit at the same time. The result is a much better flowing room but now no space to put any of his clothes as he dismantled the unit!
I think he is planning on putting them in the drawers under his bed.....We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
BBC1 about to start - Heirhunters

Just found out friends daughter (13) has been diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
Puts a lot of things into perspective💙💛 💔0 -

I've got rid of most of the non-essential stuff, as it was annoying me.
In fact, at the moment, my house is unusually tidy💙💛 💔0 -

Very sorry to hear that CK. Looked it up on NHS Choices, where it says:
"Outlook
The outlook for children with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia is usually good. Almost all children will achieve a remission (a period of time where they are free from symptoms) from their symptoms, and 85% will be completely cured."
I very much hope your friend's daughter makes a complete recovery. Though it sounds like treatment isn't a barrel of laughs.Perhaps some treats are in order when she feels well enough.

It's apparently really not nice
They're not UK-based, so unfortunately the treatment is expensive too. The rate is apparently between 80-85%, so looks good-ish.💙💛 💔0 -

Sad. Might it be worth crowd sourcing for help for them? Just a thought - I'd donate something, people can be very kind in this type of situation.0 -

I will ask about it.
I will PM you when I get home on my laptop, currently at Liverpool Street on an iPad and can't spell properly💙💛 💔0
