DW has abandoned me here in Norfolk, so I went to MrT to see what I could pick up for supper. I went a bit mad and bought over 1 KG of YS raspberries and blackberries. (It would have been rude not to, at £2 a KG.) Any NP want to pop over for some?

Depends on which bit of Norfolk as I am also in Norfolk at the moment.....:D
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

Nice one. Just back from the cinema been watching independence day if you haven't seen it don't bother not a patch on the first one.

We saw that today too, it's an ok film and perfectly watchable but it felt like it was missing something, it needed more pizazz really to have the same impact the first one had.

You got me worried- I thought they'd re-made the 1996 film which is a bit like finding they'd re-made Shaun of the Dead or similar. As long as it's a sequel, I might give it a shot.

Aww Spirit, so sad to hear you are feeling low and still in pain from your fall last week. I too miss the originals to the thread (not that I don't like the newer ones, everyone is wonderful) but I have also been guilty of not posting that much recently. I have mentioned it a few times in another part of the forum but when my mood is a bit eeky, I tend to withdraw a tad and this is what has been happening the last few months with see sawing emotions (I blame hormones and the realisation that I am officially getting old with youngest off to uni next year :rotfl:)

I hope you are feeling better soon but please please make sure (if you haven't already), you get yourself checked out properly and be rest assured, we have not abandoned you, you are still one of our loved ones.

Thanks all. I am not having a pity party here. Cathartic to express it I suppose.

I went to A&E after my fall, and they did tell me I would feel crummy for a couple of weeks, I am just not very good at being crummy. Just want it to be over. When I am not so good my deficits get worse. Movement more effortful. Walking with a stiff leg and reach and hand movements reduced. The Physio describes it as para sympathetic.

My emotional state hugely effects my movement. Physio in on Thursday, i thought about asking here to come in last friday but I was too sore in too many places.

Tonight I had an episode of tachycardia and went to the pharmacy to get a repeat of a prescription, they declined to dispense it until I had had a call with 111. 111 declined to fax a new prescription after triage and directed me to A&E. Seen quite quickly in A&E, assessed and monitored then straight in to an on site GP. Who wrote me the prescription. In an out in under an hour but the problem i had was compounded by white coat syndrome and my movement and reaction got stiffer and slower.

Bit sick of my baggage. My health history turns everything into a drama and I cant bear drama.
Tomorrow I begin a new diabetic drug that will reduce my jabs from 2 to 1. that is good in itself except as I have form in having had severe rare side effects to a couple of common diabetes drugs, I am to have more appointments and reviews.

I really feel I have caring healthcare and that the NHS has been excellent for me, I just wish I needed it less.

Will look forward to a reborn Generali. Now there is a man who needs more TLC.

I have seen very few films. Cant stand the drama/violence of most of them so they are avoided.
