I can't see PPR on his user page anywhere.
I'm tempted to facebook message him as that would be fairly anonymous in that it doesn't make him a facebook friend unless he chooses to reply.

I can understand that he might be thinking that he wants nothing further to do with this place and I think we should respect his wishes in that.
However as a friend I don't think it is unreasonable for any us to try to make contact but making clear that any response received will not be shared on here without his specific consent.I think....0 -

I wouldn't have thought so
I've sent him a facebook message.
He hasn't got the facebook messenger app and as we are unconnected on facebook, he may not see the message.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I think its ok to contact him anyway you can. He might have no news until tests are done though so could be in a right stew.

Just heard from Gen, everything's OK, thank goodness, and he still retains his unique sense of humour!Yes, all is well. I was pretty concerned about the cancer checkup on Thursday but it all turned out okay. I do have a lump in a lymph node but it's completely within normal ranges. The trouble with getting cancer is, unlike a fear of heights or dogs or something, the fear of it coming back is entirely rational.
Please let anyone that cares (and indeed those that don't too!) that I'm fine and as happy as I can be considering I'm at Mrs Generali's work do! These things are bad enough when it's your own colleagues. Rubber chicken, CEO jokes and bad wine.0 -
Great news, thanks Trev.0

Yey! Good for you, Gen! :j
It's the day for good news!
A week ago, I found a lump in my breast. I have a history of benign breast cysts, dozens over a five year period, which were all treated by aspiration, but I thought I'd 'grown out' of them, as I hadn't had any for 12 years, so I was rather worried to find one.
Anyway, I went to my GP last Monday, got a phone call the next day with an appointment at the hospital for this morning, where I had a mammogram and an ultrasound scan which confirmed it was a cyst. So they drained it there and then, so all ok now.
So, all you ladies........please toddle off and examine your breasts! Seriously!
And men........I expect you know that men can get breast cancer too? Well, interestingly, while I was at the hospital, I saw possibly 7or 8 women patients there, but also two men. (This was the breast health department). So men shouldn't dismiss any lumps, bumps, puckering or discharge, either.(I just lurve spiders!)

2 minutes ago I had no idea there was a subject called bioarchaeology of children ... and yet here I am knowing that you can't tie up a body of a child with their dental records because they either don't exist or are all the same .... so, instead, you have to take a photo of the child when alive and smiling - and compare that to the dead child's teeth.
This tracing people lark doesn't half expand your odd knowledge!0
