Generali If you are able to see this, just to say I'm thinking of you re tomorrow.

Thanks Folks! :) I suspect it's the possible exposure to asbestos that's what got me this outing to Broadgreen! But prob have some kind of lung disease too from the Spirometry results, nice Nurse has asked GP to send me for more testing for that too. 50 years of smoking won't have helped!

I'm joining you Ivyleaf in hoping Generali is OK and I'm thinking of him and sending The Vibes too. But I have a feeling it's Thursday he's seeing his consultant.

For dog walking ... remember those things people put babies in? They drop them into a ring with a bum sling in the ring, so their toes just touch the ground ... and there's a lower ring with wheels on ... they can toddle about and because the bottom ring is wider than the top one, they can't fall over.

You need a big one of those :)

There'll be robot dog walkers for sale in the near future... for people who'd like to walk the dog, but really don't want to go out in the rain.

Sorry about being a day out and thinking it was Weds. In my defence I'm absolutely knackered and have trouble distinguishing one day of the week from another.

    Still thinking of Gen though.
Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

My daughter as if she has not been through enough.....people need to make some considerations when you have been through the mill. Cancer is ongoing you do not just say hey ho I have had my treatment and its gone forever. Now she has needed to give notice to her job because of *uc*ing thin skinned or is it thick skinned. Speaking to her via skype tonight I could see she was holding back the tears but 3 weeks and I can give a real big HUG....

No worries from me, and suspect from rest of NPs. I only ever know what day it is when I access the calendar thingy on bottom right of computer in the morning. :o

I'm thinking of Gen too - Gutted he & Mrs G can't be in touch right now.

I'm still sad and disappointed. That won't go away. I hope it is temporary :(. Please come back.

A Babywalkers! They're frowned on. There was some research done into brain development in infants, and it seems that crawling is an important part of development. The cross-patterning afforded by the all-fours limb movements produces certain advancements in the brain. If you sidestep the crawling stage with things like baby-walkers, this might have a detrimental effect.
    So I understand, anyway.

B Yes, you can get treadmills for dogs!

I say bring back the turnspit! It was a bit like a hamster wheel, and dogs were bred to fit in it, run it round and round and turn the spit. All we need to do now is wire it up to a generator and get the dog running on it to produce electricity!
It could incorporate a video of fields with rabbits, to give the dog an incentive to run and run!

The mad plasterer; I was thinking about him the other day, for obvious reasons. He was great fun, can't remember his user name though. Wasn't his neighbours toilet diverting to the bottom of his garden at one point?

Mr b was a genuine perv.

BobQ says Mrs G has been banished as well. The prima donna sitting on Gen's thread is poised there waiting for any attention. Sad.

Was it nelly? Mr.B was amazing and his nemesis sortofok i was a contributor on the housing boards back then but didn't log on for ages and forgot my password so didn't bother in the end I came back and they'd all gone except for you gen pn and rugged toast etc
